I commented on the official chai subreddit in Will newest update asking about the new filter (I didn’t tell them to remove the filter just asked if they can fix the issue about how it’s glitching and no matter what the number is it triggers) and he deleted the comment and replied with it saying ‘The safety filter will never be removed’ LIKE I DIDNT TELL YOU TO REMOVE IT I ASKED IF YOU CAN FIX THE DAMN ISSUE😭😭
If I disappear or something happens to me I think we all knew what happened 😔
But for me I am slightly hoping it won’t be forced to use it while creating a bot as I know some people in real life and I myself also didn’t like it a lot when it was there as it used to force us to use it when I literally didn’t want to use it 😭. I am so happy that it might come back but at the same time I hope it will be like ‘optional’ choice.
Now I can’t create new bots or search any bots💔. But I saw in the app store there is a new update?? And when I opened the app again it said to please update the app as they fixed the search and making bot issue? Did anyone who updated it and can’t create bots or search bots get the same thing as me?

When I updated it I was finally able to create new bots if I wanted to or search for bots however I was creating a new bot: it had no minors, no NSFW, or any violence however the app told me I can’t as it breaks the app violation so I got confused and read the safety rules last updated on July 28 2026 and nothing I did in the new bot breaks any of their rules, curious and confused I asked chat GPT and it told me to email Chai (but we all know that their answer is useless) so instead I asked Chat GPT to help me find the issue in what I said, it said that there is no problem in what I tried to do in the bot but said maybe the app thought my character is a minor (which is strange since I mentioned the character is working as an assistant for a CEO and that they graduated collage few years ago) but eh, Chat GPT said to mention an age like my character is thirty or in their twenties, I did that and it worked! But it’s so confusing?? What the heck is wrong with CHAI now??
Everyone knows that many people have mixed feelings about religions like Christianity and Islam (there are more of course but these are just examples) some hate Islam some hate Christianity some like them some don’t even care. But like isn’t this subreddit for teenagers who are usually trying to escape hate in real life? (Just my opinion btw) so shouldn’t we not bring religion into this??
