Are you truly experiencing the world authentically or are we just trusting our brains?
Humans have five fundamental senses. All these senses send signals to our brains to make us aware. I read in a book that everything we see, feel, hear, smell, and taste is what the senses interpret and send up to the brain. The book also talked about the hypothetical idea that maybe what we experience is what our brains want us to think; not what is truly out there. What we think we’re experiencing might be different from our surroundings. Sounds like a whole bunch of fluff, but think about it; the brain’s perception may not be completely equal to reality. I’m still trying to bridge this to the double-slit experiment because I see some connections. Feel free to contradict, agree, and add on. (The book I read was made by neuroscientists.)
