Oil and leave in conditioner recs for preventing split ends and promoting strong ends on thin straight hair?

I find a lot of the products I buy just end up drying out my hair or not doing much for it. I have relatively healthy hair but I like to keep it red, which means I dye it from time to time. I try to stay away from heat as well. Does anyone have any recommendations that actually hydrated their hair and prevented split ends for as long as possible? I know occasional trims help me but I’m also trying to grow out my hair.

I am so tired and burnt out as a mom with ADHD. I don’t know what to do

I’m a single mom to a just turned 3 yr old. She hits, she screams, and she does not listen quite literally 100% of the time. I know this is “normal” or it’s just a phase or whatever, but I’m so tired. How does one not become increasingly frustrated and burnt out from this? I am a firm gentle parenter, I express boundaries in a calm and firm manner, and she knows all of the rules as I have to express them multiple times a day (no hitting, use your listening ears, it’s time to sit down and eat, etc.) but it seems to just not work. I have yet to find a way to discipline that works for us. I hold space for her emotions, I comfort her when appropriate (or at least try, sometimes she wants nothing to do with me because I told her no) I try my best to not yell but still be firm and not permissive. I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Her daycare has also expressed some concern around her behaviour.

It also doesn’t really help that I have ADHD, so I have trouble regulating my own emotions. I am trying so hard to stay patient and calm, and honestly I am doing a decent job most of the time, but that doesn’t take away from how draining it is and what I feel inside. I find myself watching the clock until bedtime, and I don’t want to feel that way. I love my daughter more than I can ever love anything, but I am so burnt out.

I thought about talking to our family doctor about a psychological assessment for her, but I can’t help but feel like that’s kind of extreme and that maybe this is just a hump that we have to get over. Still, I do not know what to do. Should I get an assessment, is that mother intuition? Or am I being dramatic lol?

To top it off, I’m starting my second year of school soon, and I am so not looking forward to that added stress. I am diagnosed with depression, and am on meds, but last year I had to up the dosage to the max dose because of the stress. I am still recovering from being burnt out from last year’s schooling.

Sorry if this is just a blob of words, I’m not good with explaining my feelings. Any advice is welcome.

What are some good coloured contact brands for someone who really sucks at putting contacts in?

I’ve been able to get coloured contacts in my eye ONCE despite trying them out many times, but I really wanna try to make it work this Halloween. Is there any specific brand that makes it easier? Or am I doomed and need to have more practice? Does having someone do it for me make it easier? I tend to blink too much so maybe it’s just a me problem?

Libido is being super weird when I accidentally miss my meds.

I’m (F 22) on 40 mg of citalopram and have been for almost 3 years. I sometimes forget to take my meds and I’ve noticed that when I do this, I wake up in the middle of the night really sexually aroused. My libido has been so so low since being on these meds, but not these nights.

I know it takes a while for someone to actually have no meds in their body, especially for taking them for so long, so this is confusing me a lot. I’ve also read that it sometimes takes people years to recover their libido after being on SSRI’s, so I don’t know what’s going on. Is it because I’m on the highest dose and my body is shocked a little from the missing med? Idk

I do have a doctors appointment in a month so I’ll ask him about it, but has this happened to anyone else?

Glue/Bond and Seal recommendations for cluster lashes?

Has anyone found a bond and seal that actually lasts a decent amount of time for lash clusters? I’ve never had my lashes last longer than 2 days and I’m always very gentle with them. I just want something that’ll last a little longer. I’m too broke to go get my lashes done professionally, so lash clusters are the second best option. I know I’ve seen other people do it, but with what glue?

Self help book recs?

There are so so many but I want to know from actual readers, what are some that have changed your life? Mainly ones based on being happy, raising daughters, parenting, making a living, staying sane lol, working with trauma, relationships, healing, divine and powerful femininity, whatever really. I also do enjoy reading about philanthropy.
