Girls who grew up with strict parents but still managed to start going out/travelling at a young age — how did you make it happen?

I mean going to simple, safe places at first, like nearby towns, cafés, beaches, tourist spots, day trips etc.

How did you convince your parents and build enough trust for them to let you go? And how young were you when you started?

I've been struggling with sleep for a long time. I don't use my phone at night anymore and I keep it outside my room, but I still have trouble falling asleep and often end up awake very late.

I've tried the usual things like keeping a routine, avoiding screens, relaxing before bed, etc., but they haven't helped much.

I also have a history of seizures and I'm currently on medication, so I'm not looking for medication/supplement recommendations. I'm mainly looking for sleep habits, routines, or things that genuinely helped other people.
