Realized something

Doing a rewatch of Toy Story 4 prior to seeing 5, and I just realized in the opening flashback, Bo tries to get Woody to get in the box with her and he almost does.

“You know, toys get lost all the time…”

“…get in the wrong boxes…”

And Woody starts to get in the box.

It’s subtle and not something I caught until now.

Trailer Miles

Hey all! Does anyone log their trailer miles? If you do, what do you use?

I feel like there may be some benefit to knowing the mileage on your tires, suspension, brakes, etc.

[Boulder Dash] Gotta admit—not quite seeing the hype.

Just visited Lake Compounce today. Was expecting to come off of Boulder Dash wanting to reride over and over. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The initial impression was great. Nice station, incredible setting, lift hill and drop were spectacular, but after that…well, all it did was abuse the crap out of me.

I will say this: it was a very slow day. There were only about 6 other riders on the train with me. My thought is that perhaps it doesn’t do well with empty trains? What am I missing here? The power and speed are incredible, but when paired with the jackhammering throughout the entire second half, I found it just downright impossible to enjoy.

I feel like if thew whole coaster were redone with Titan Track it would be incredible, but I know most don’t want it to fall completely under the hybrid category.

Interested in hearing some comments here and opening up the floor for discussion.

Battery Help

Hey all,

Can someone give me some input here? I have 2 100ah LiFePo Li Time batteries wired in parallel, however they do not discharge simultaneously like I guess they are supposed to. Only the battery directly connected to the positive terminal is discharging. What do I need to do here?

Bundle Hack

A post a few days ago gave me this idea. I was in the market for a blower, and I was going to pull the trigger on the 350cfm from direct tools outlet for $77 or the 250cfm on sale from HD for $79

Saw that post and realized I could get the 510cfm for about $90 if I bought the bundle with the starter kit for $199 and returned the starter kit. Don’t get a battery then, but I have tons.

Beast of a brushless blower for only a few bucks more than the cheapest model. Thanks to whoever reminded me this was a thing a few days ago!

Lug Nuts

Hey all,

Does anyone actually check their torque on their lugs before every trip? The sticker on the trailer indicates it’s good practice, but I’m wondering if anyone actually does?

Reddit Ads

I almost engaged with this shit. Reddit, your ads are getting kind sleazy.

Blooming

What setting is causing this blooming type artifact? The source is a 4K blu ray on a UB820. TV is a 83” C4. Receiver is an Onkyo NR6050. I assume this is caused by some post processing setting on the player, TV, or receiver.

18V Compressor

Anybody use this to winterize their RV? Does it handle blowing out the plumbing okay?

Ideas?

Obviously this is purely cosmetic but does anyone have any thoughts on how to make these two pieces of wheel well a little less of an eye sore?

It’s a design flaw for this layout, and it’s irrelevant with the slide out, but it’d be nice if it could look a little better in transit.

Edit: Thanks for the input all! I crawled under there and tweaked the adjustment point on that side a little. That closed the gap between the slide and the wall, but the plastic skirting/fender was still really bad.

I ended up manipulating the right half to be a little further out, and I manipulated the left half to bend a little more inward. Looks considerably better.

Help Identifying

Hey there! I need some help identifying my awning. I’d really like to get some end caps for this rail but I don’t even know where to start.

Any help anyone can provide is hugely appreciated!

I95 Express Lanes

Hey friends!

I have a question. There are some sections of the express lanes that explicitly say “NO TRAILERS”. That’s cut and dry—I’m not permitted in the express lanes.

But some sections say “TWO AXLE VEHICLES ONLY”. Am I permitted in the express lanes or not? My truck and my trailer are both 2 axles vehicles, yes? Typically the verbiage is COMBINATIONS, if it’s referring to a combination.

I’ve searched online, but can’t seem to find a consensus on this.

[Spinning Coaster]

Curious to know if credit counters are counting these guys as individual credits or if at all. I’ve been looking into visiting some smaller independent parks and a lot of them all seem to have one of these in their lineup (presumably because they are a cheap and decent addition).

I guess it looks like these are also made in other layouts, but I guess my question is specifically about the simple figure 8 configuration. Can’t imagine the ride experience being any different. Like a modern era Little Dipper coaster, or child/family equivalent to a Vekoma Boomerang.

Thoughts?
