Ik we can’t predict how many ppl will get off / opted into waitlist bc reddit users don’t even make half of the applicants lol. But at least from those reading this, how many of you opted into the waitlist / didn’t. Also what majors?

Is canvas back? One of my professors said to not log until Tuesday(bc that’s the day i have class)/further notice. But another prof said smc says canvas will be back by tonight and to do all work before sunday . So should I just wait until smc says something and disregard the second prof.

So i’m currently waitlisted and if I get in I will most likely enroll right away. So my question is for those of you who were waitlisted then got accepted, was it hard to find roommates mid june? I feel like so many people will already have somewhere to live + people to live with. Realistically I can commute I just don’t want to because of traffic but I’m willing to if I don’t find housing.
Hi everyone, I need honest opinions. So i’m committed to csulb and as of now graduating debt free (only worrying about paying for housing + personal expenses). So here is where I need help. I’m on the waitlist for UCLA and who knows if I will hear back. That’s why I applied for housing at csulb bc I need a backup plan. If I get accepted to UCLA should I go there instead? I think I will most likely have to pay for tuition and housing. So is it worth it to attend UCLA. Or should I just stay at lb. (My major is sociology so it’s nothing too crazy) But if we are being honest UCLA has better “prestige” than lb but lb is also a good school so idk what to do .
Any thoughts would help, or if you guys experienced the same thing or something similar

Just committed to lb as transfer! I also applied for housing. I’m so excited, i’m bummed about the construction but i don’t think it will be that bad. I’m going to be a sociology major so if there is any classes that stood out to you guys lmk or just anything about the sociology department. Also thinking of double majoring or minoring in criminology so same goes.
I’m wondering about on campus jobs or if you all recommend off campus jobs too?

Hi, i’m Jr Transfer Student. Do you guys recommend on campus housing? Or should I look for housing off campus? Bc I just found out priority deadline is tmrw. (I’d rather live with only 1 or 2 other people). Any recommendations would help or nice area to live in that isn’t too far and not too expensive. Thanks

Hi, i think most people are in the same situation as me rn. Realistically do I have a chance to get off the waitlist? I’ll probably end this semester with a 3.8 (which ik is on the lower side). I’m a sociology major so it’s not really an impacted major. But i’m hoping by some miracle to get in.
