20+ days of no touching

I'm doing my best to take care of my hands. I figured for the first weeks that whenever there was a ridge, I was going to file it to eliminate the temptation of biting it. I'm in no way perfect, this isn't the first time I quit nail biting but I think that my commitment is showing really good results. Looking forward to continuing this work for the next few months and seeing even more progress. Everyday now I clean under the white because so much dirt gets there. I should get some jojoba oil for the dehydrated skin. Overall, I'm happy about my progress!

I'm crying because it's too hot

The heat is stressing me out so much. It's 33C during the day and the next week is going to get to 38. I genuinely don't know how I'll make it out alive, my pressure is dropping like crazy even though I'm eating tons of liquorice, I can't sleep, I feel so horrible all the time and it's worsening my depression. I have 0 energy during the day and when I went to the mall the other day I realised it's nothing wrong with me, I'm suffering extremely because of the hot weather. I don't know what to do, I need to move either to the top of a mountain or Siberia. I can't stand it anymore, I used to spend my summers in Sicily when I was a teen and hate winter but now it's the reverse. I'm genuinely the happiest during cold dark winter months, I feel alive and motivated, now I feel like I'm cooking in hell. I don't know how I'll do this.

I opened a savings account!

I'm so happy about this. It's such a small thing but I know it will make a huge difference in my life. I've never had a savings account, but I'm really, really good at saving in general, although I've always saved everything in cash. I'm proud that now I have a place to put however amount of money I want every month and see my safety net grow. I'm really proud of myself 🥳🥳🥳

Something flew inside of my room in the middle of the night

I'm sorry for the low quality of the video, it's the best I could do. It's half past 3am, and I had the window half open because it's so hot outside. Suddenly I hear a flapping of some sorts, can't understand what it is, I flash the darkness and I just see a huge thing flying inside of my room.

My eyesight is bad and I don't have glasses close to my bedside. I can't leave the room to get them and I don't want to trap the creature inside to get them. I'm incredibly flabbergasted and don't understand if it's a small bird, a bat or a giant moth. I open the window completely and eventually it flies back outside. The poor thing was probably kinda panicking (so was I).

Can you help me understand what it was?

I'm in Northern Italy.

Edit: Just want to make everyone aware I heard the flapping because I was completely awake and aware of my surroundings and therefore I had no physical contact with it, it was flying high in the room the whole time as in the video and I stayed low. I already contacted the local authorities and they are not afraid I got bitten
