The Inside News!
So after 3 of my friend's orders got cancelled and 2 of mine's, I finally got in touch with my area's delivery agent. Since he has been the one delivering orders to me for a while, he was open, upfront and honest about what is happening with the Flipkart.
He told me that first of all the manpower of Ekart is almost just half of what they need so they're overburdened with the workload and backlogs.
Secondly, Ekart agents don't prefer to deliver orders with the exchange with them as any difference in the estimated value and final value, the agents have to pay from their own pockets.
Thirdly, as they are supposed to deliver 100 to 150 orders on a daily basis, they prefer as small packages as possible so that they can deliver as many packages as possible. They avoid the heavier and the big sized packages.
So basically everything is at the mercy of the Ekart hub managers and the delivery boys now and Flipkart ain't doing shit to manage the crisis.
Ekart is delaying, rejecting, failing the delivery as they please.
So if you really want your order to be delivered, talk to the delivery agent of your area, take his contact number and sign a ''chai paani" contract with them to get your orders delivered.
