Regina police ticket 69 drivers amid spike in pedestrian crashes
They need to do more of this, and not just at controlled pedestrian crossings.

Another Amazon Canada pre-order where it kept increasing delivery date day by day with no shipping Gotta love my local Sunrise Records. Im so happy to have this in my collection! I love Physical Media!
These pictures are screenshots that came into my parents sasktel(dot)net email account. The language is typical for a phishing attack, but all things considered the text is written pretty well. The links open webpages where they are hoping to get you to log in using your sasktel credentials trying to gain access to your account. What is most disturbing to me, and is something I don't understand, is the emails seemed to be coming from actual .net email addresses that don't appear to be spoofed. I presume they are from compromised sask-tel .net accounts. Be vigilant everyone!
EDIT:
I should have mentioned, I forwarded both to sasktel at phishing@sasktel.net. I'm pretty sure they are compromised accounts, as the address is not hidden like phishing emails usually are. I can't figure out what their end game is though, beyond gaining access to the email account itself. I also should have included this

What have peoples experiences been with using the paybyphone app for parking downtown. I took my senior mother downtown today and created her account and showed here how to use it. While she initially did have a little but of a hard time figuring it out, especially selecting from numerous different parking zones, I think she has if figured out, at least until there is an app update and she has to log in again. She did mention that she had heard from people that they have issues where it did not work at all, and apparently there was even a news story about someone who had paid but got a ticket anyway. Has anyone experienced any issues?
Personally I don't mind the app if it works, but I also rarely go downtown. For my mother it's a horrible thing, as is Mayor Chads "solution" to make parking vouchers available at City Hall. Imagine having to go and run an errand to buy parking vouchers, just so you can go and run errands and patronize downtown businesses.
I hope they have insurance.
For 20 years these were my go to for almost every household chore or wood working type job and I still love them. Sadly the brushes are going on one of the drills and I can't get genuine batteries for them anymore ( I don't trust knock off batteries) so it is time to say goodbye, and send them to the great big tool box in the sky.
I found it in the garage of the first house I bought 30 years ago. Smart enough not to try it, curious enough to hang onto it. Finally letting go tonight and it's going in my neighbors scrap metal bin.
I had given up on getting the fan in Canada altogether since it was released so long ago in the USA. They popped up in this weeks Sales Flyer along with the 30th anniversary blower. Limited quantities of at my local store, there were only 4 available of each. The fan came with the charger with the standard plug (instead of the power brick) and a 2ah High Performance Battery. This is a really great fan and is very quiet. So much better than my old P3320 2 speed.
How about no?
I'm surprised it took this long to get some press. The city is really looking trashy and so many green spaces are unusable, or at least uncomfortable to use.
Anyone have issues with the Park Mobile contractor for SHA parking? My mother who is in her 80s got a $70 dollar ticket while she was in at the pay station paying for parking. Attempts to contact them have been futile with only being able to leave a message, and the recording warned of long wait times for a return call. This is the last thing she needed with my 86 year old father in hospital with a kung infection.
Only six avaliable at my local store and online ordering in Canada not yet available. I was able to do online and in store pickup though. I almost snagged the green one during ryobi days. Im glad I waited.
One of my all time favorite films, up for Pre-Order on Amazon Canada. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is the first 4K release.
Initially I was less than impressed with the battery/tool offerings for Ryobi Days in Canada since the battery sets were standard 18 volt. That is until I discovered you can buy the kit, then return the batteries (price adjusted of course) which means I picked both of these up for about $100 CAD each. I might just pickup the 2 - 4ah Batteries that are on special for $148.
So reading the fine print on my Ryobi Days deal in Canada (buy this battery set, get this tool free) I noticed a statement about the refund price for each item being half of the $198 CAD price. So I went into the store and returned the batteries no problem but kept the tool for $99.
Has this always been a thing? In the past the deals on HP tools always had an HP battery, but this year the offer was two standard batteries that I didn't want so I don't even feel bad. I might try again in fact.
For those that own both, how much better is the HP vs the regular brushed variable speed trim router? I originally upgraded from the fixed speed to the variable which is so much better than the original, but now I'm having FOMO about not waiting and going with the HP. The HP was out of stock at my store when I broke my original and I didn't want to wait (apparently you are not suppose to drop them down the stairs on concrete).
I bought this over 30 years ago before I even owned a house and while I don't use it often, it has served me so well over the years. I've used it as a lever to lift so many heavy things, and it just keeps being there for me. I just felt like it deserved some love.

If they had caused a collision, the odds that these riders would have seriously injured or killed someone are very high.
