New vs old label

I kinda like the original a little more. I know a lotta people had said it looks like a cockroach though.

Stoked on this pickup

Paid $69.99 at a major store no need to plug. You could probably guess tho. I'm not from TX (from CA) but felt like it's appropriate to post here. Cheers y'all.

Awesome blend

These two go insanely well together 50/50 or 60/40. The garlic reaper flavor's still there but much more cooled down and far less punishing. Highly suggest trying it out for yourself.

Quick review, Jack Daniel's Heritage

Jack Daniel's Single Barrel 'Heritage Barrel' Tennessee Whiskey (2025)

Price- $55.99

Mashbill- 80 corn, 8 rye, 12 malted barley

Age- 7+ years

Proof- 100

Distilled- Tennessee

Finished- Heavily toasted, low char barrel

Single Barrel- Yes

Selected- No

Tasting impressions:

Peanut brittle, marshmallow fluff, maple glaze, cola, banana cream pie. Very much worthy of the hype and I'll definitely get another one eventually. This would honestly be a great gift to give someone that you want to introduce to whiskey. Incredible amount of flavor for a 100 proofer. My only knock is that there's a slight sawdust note at the very end of the finish. Other than that, this is a flat out solid sipper. Do I like it better than Old Forester 1910? Not quite, but they're neck & neck.

Score:

78/100
