Gpu power supply wattage recommendation
I recently purchased a tower with a 500 watt PSU. It has an i7 8700. What gpu would you recommend I could safely use with this setup? I’m thinking rx 6600xt or rtx 3060

So recently I’ve been wanting to upgrade my setup. I am upgrading from an Alienware alpha. I would like to game at 1080p 60fps on modern titles and I’ve been looking at workstation MT pc’s with high watt PSU’s (500watt for example) where I could just put a gpu in and get to gaming immediately. I found an h2 g4 with an i7 8700 16gb of ram a 256gb ssd, 1tb HDD, win 11 pro with a 500 watt PSU. What would be the best gpu to pair with this build and do you have any recommendations for a more modern workstation conversion to gaming pc build? Would like to stay under 300 for the workstation itself and maybe another 300 for a good gpu. I don’t suppose I could find anything close for around 600 either building or buying used (no marketplace that is).

Best MT desktop to start a solid 1080p build with? I could spend up to around 250 shipped on the desktop itself. I’m thinking HP G series or a Lenovo p520. Would these be better platforms to upgrade from?
Could possibly get this for 190 shipped, would like opinions. HP Z2 G4 Workstation TWR Intel Core i7-8700 3.20Ghz 16GB RAM 240GB SSD 1TB HDD 500 watt PSU. Similar to my last post I am looking to make a solid 1080p MT build for under 500. Thanks!
I found a HP EliteDesk 800 G4 With an i7- 8700 3.2 GHz 16GB RAM 500W PSU w a 256GB nvme for 250 shipped. Is this a solid platform to slap a gpu in ?
Ryzen 5 5500 with cooler + msi B450 + 16gb ddr4 for around 200 free shipping
Just wanted to get opinions on the best MIni Tower optiplex or other model(s) that work well with adding a gpu to. Which has the best stock PSU? I saw a video today of an optiplex 7071 MT that comes with a 400+ watt psu with an 8pin already. Thanks!
What would be the best optiplex to purchase along with a gpu for around 500 dollars? Or would there be a better route to go? I’m thinking a MT build with a full sized card. Thanks!
What used desktop + gpu combo can I get for 1080p gaming on medium settings with this budget? I have previously posted about going the optiplex + 3050 route but would like more opinions.
I plan on purchasing a MT 8th+ gen optiplex and slapping the best gpu I can get for around 300 dollars in it. Good idea? I can’t seem to find any prebuilt/parts deals as I just want to have a decent 1080p gaming machine. Not looking for a top of the line system for reference I’m upgrading from a 750ti and 6th gen i3. Thanks!
I plan on building a quick and easy optiplex sleeper. I want to get a decent card that can go in a MT system (8th+ gen of course). Suggestions?
I have a budget of 500-800 dollars. In a time like this can I still obtain a reasonably decent build? I’m not looking to play games at ultra settings. I am perfectly fine with obtaining parts and building it all myself. Please drop suggestions or opinions below, Thanks!
