Cilantro

Hi ladies! Are we still worried about eating cilantro? I’m still avoiding lettuce but it seems like everything I’m craving (chipotle rice, salsa, guac) has raw cilantro in it. I’ve been craving restaurant guacamole soooo much 😭 I’m in Michigan btw. (7 weeks)

All day morning sickness

Why was it named “morning sickness” if it lasts all day everyday? 🙃 I’m almost 6 weeks and the headache/nausea combo just doesn’t let up. I’m too paranoid to take medication and I’m hoping it will just pass. Anyone else in the same boat?

How to remove glare from light on whiteboard? I tried the AI remove tool but it just made the whiteboard a different shade of white

Asthma?

I just adopted a senior cat, 11 years old, about a month ago. The last week or so, he’s been having these little episodes every few days. I have a vet appointment scheduled on Thursday but what do you guys think this could be? Asthma?

Litter Review!

I don’t usually write reviews for cat litter lol but I feel like this one deserves it because I’ve tried SO many litters at this point between my own cats and pet sitting.

I have 3 cats at home, and I’m also a professional cat sitter. There seems to be an issue with every litter we’ve tried over the years. I was on Instagram and saw something about Sustainably Yours Health Monitoring litter and it had some good reviews so I decided to try it.

The first thing I noticed was the clumping. I know every litter says “strong clumps” but this is one of the only litters I’ve used where the clumps actually stay intact when scooping. It forms these really solid clumps almost immediately, so the box stays cleaner longer and you’re not scraping apart wet litter at the bottom of the box. That alone made a huge difference for me with multiple cats.

The second thing was the dust. I didn’t realize how dusty most litters were until I switched. Pouring some litters literally creates a cloud in the room. This one is dramatically lower dust than almost anything else I’ve tried, which I appreciate because one of my cats likes to launch herself out of the box.

The health monitoring aspect is what originally made me curious though. The litter changes color if it detects abnormalities in your cat’s urine, like changes in pH that could indicate a urinary issue. Bright pink if it’s acidic, purple is healthy and blue means it’s in the alkaline range. Obviously it’s not a replacement for a vet or anything, but I honestly think it’s such a smart idea because cats are really good at hiding health issues.

I was also worried my cats would reject it because cats can be so dramatic about litter changes, but they adjusted surprisingly fast. I mixed it in gradually at first and within a few days they were using it normally.

Honestly this is one of the few pet products I’ve tried recently that actually felt worth the hype. My cats like it, my house smells better and I like having the extra peace of mind.

I had an adjustment a few days and the doctor came over to look over everything and she goes “everything looks good…you’re getting your braces off next appointment.” I was speechless!!! I knew I was in the home stretch but omg. I’m so beyond excited!!! It doesn’t feel real
