Anyone else wish Marvel kept the RDJ Doctor Doom thing a secret?

Anyone else wish Marvel kept the RDJ Doctor Doom thing a secret?

Am I the only one who thinks Marvel completely blew what could’ve been the biggest theater reaction since the portals scene in Endgame?

Don't get me wrong, I'm hyped to see Robert Downey Jr. back in the MCU. But man, imagine sitting in the theater completely blind, watching the Avengers fight Doctor Doom, and then the mask finally comes off to reveal Tony Stark’s face. The absolute chaos in the cinema would have been legendary.Instead, they announced it at SDCC a while back, probably just to secure box office faith after a rough patch. So now, instead of enjoying a massive twist, we’re all just sitting here doing mental gymnastics trying to figure out how they’ll explain it.

Are they going with the rumor that he's a Victor Von Doom variant who just happens to look like Tony? Or is Doom actively manipulating an alternate Stark into thinking the 616 Avengers destroyed the multiverse? The Russo brothers said this is going to be one of the more mature MCU movies, so my expectations are still high. But I really hope RDJ’s star power doesn’t overshadow the character of Doom itself. What’s your take? Is this going to be a masterpiece, or is it just a massive multi-million dollar nostalgia trap? Let's discuss. 🍿

Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man deserved better writing and the box office proves it

We need to talk about how Sony utterly failed Andrew Garfield. He is arguably the most comic-accurate Peter Parker we have ever seen, yet his franchise was cut short. If Sony had focused on solid scripting instead of rushing to build a cinematic universe, The Amazing Spider-Man series would have been a massive, multi-billion-dollar trilogy Here is why better scripts would have changed everything:

Sony bloated the stories :- TASM 2 suffered from the exact same issue as Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3. The script tried to set up the Sinister Six, introduce Electro, give Harry Osborn a rushed villain arc, and resolve Peter's parents' mystery all at once.

Garfield had the perfect energy :- Andrew perfectly captured the quippy, sarcastic, and deeply traumatised nature of the comic book character. His acting in No Way Home proved that when he is given sharp, emotional dialogue, he absolutely steals the show.

The romance carried the films :- The chemistry between Andrew and Emma Stone is widely considered the best in any superhero movie. A stronger script would have woven their relationship into a tighter narrative, making Gwen Stacy's death feel like a earned tragic climax rather than a sudden plot point in a messy film.

Andrew had the talent, the look, and the passion. He just lacked a cohesive screenplay. With a focused director and a clean script, his movies easily could have crossed the billion-dollar mark and given us TASM 3.What do you think? Was it the script that killed the franchise, or did audiences just have Spider-Man fatigue at the time?

Is Khatron Ke Khiladi just Bigg Boss Season 2.5 now?

no longer an action show. It just recycles the exact same dramatic rivalries, couples, and fan wars from the recent Bigg Boss seasons. The casting has gotten incredibly lazy.

Where did she actually rank before marriage, and where would she be today if she hadn’t married Virat Kohli?

Before her marriage, she was universally considered part of the elite tier alongside Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif. She was the youngest actress to deliver massive hits with all three Khans (Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, PK, Sultan). She had immense acting credibility through films like NH10 and Band Baaja Baaraat At just 25, she founded Clean Slate Filmz, way ahead of the trend of actresses turning into producers.

Why there's so much hype around this guy ?

Is it just me, or is the Samay Raina hype getting completely out of hand? Let’s be honest: he is deeply overrated and overhyped right now. His biggest flaw is that his stand-up lacks actual depth. He relies way too heavily on shock value, edgy humor, and easy punchlines instead of clever, structured joke writing.More importantly, a huge chunk of his enduring relevance is carried by his circle of famous friends. Without constant collaborations, streams, and guest appearances with other top creators and comics to keep him in the algorithm, his solo content wouldn't hold up. Great networker and entertainer? Yes. Top-tier standalone comedian? Definitely not.

WHY I LEFT TWITTER

So this journey starts post 2022, when I joined X aka Twitter thinking it's for intellectual people, I was getting proven right every passing day till 2023 end when it became an income source for indian youth. Things were okayish till one point then came a phase where it completely transitioned from platform of intellectuals to major income source of frustrated & jobless Indian youth, their takes became so suffocating & ragebaiting that I've had to replace it with REDDIT. I just hope this platform never becomes like that.
