Thank you, jbhusker for pointing me to Phoenix Typewriter. From there I was able to find what needed to be done, I was finally able to get it into position. Unfortunately, it won't stay clamed/shut. Any suggestions on what to do here?
Yesterday I had posted that I got this and that it works well. Save for two type heads being detached: the 0/) and the cent sign/ñ. Any advice on how to fix this?
Didn't know what flair fit best. Perhaps there should be one for just showing off our new finds. It types well, just needs some cleaning. Got it off Facebook Market place for $45. The seller said it's from 1949.
Edit: the 0/) and the cent symbol/ñ is disconnected from the lever. All others are in working order.
I recently began learning Swedish. I noticed Ja (yes) and Jag (I) are both pronounced like "ya." So is there a subtle difference in pronunciation to differentiate the two, or would one go on context?
As I type the ribbon on my Royal KMG wants to slip from or bunch on the vibrator. What's going on and how do I fix?

I've noticed that the Daebak ghost pepper noodles are harder to find at a reasonable price. I used to find it at a local Asian market roughly $2.75 for a single cup, and I can't remember how much for a 6 cup pack. Unfortunately, they don't carry that anymore. I have tried looking online and find 1 single cup for $11. Yea, I'm not doing that.
So, does anyone know I can get it cheaper online? Or perhaps a alternative? I had thought I almost found a 6-pack for $16, but the business doesn't deliver to my area. Any help would be appreciated.
Awhile back I got a typewriter off of Facebook market place, and it works great. However, I do actually want to use it. Unfortunately, I haven't had much reason/opportunity to actually use it. Any suggestions on how to get more use out of it? I have considered visiting the writing prompts sub and type up my ideas.
Hey, I recently got a laserdisc player again after losing my old one. Oddly enough I'm having trouble setting it up. Am I missing something? Do I need to switch my TV to channel 3 or 4? Edit to add: Yes, there is a disc in there.
Update: I am both disappointed and ecstatic. Disappointed in myself that I didn't think to do the basic AV troubleshooting of just jiggling the cable. Ecstatic that I now know it isn't the player, but rather either the cable, or the AV ports on my TV. That's the cost of overthinking.
