Got the outside plastics trimmed to fit and new seatbelts installed couldn’t have fit more perfectly 🤘

Me and the father in even snagged a couple trophies 🤘 first one the Frankenwagen has earned so far. Met tons of cool new VW enthusiasts and got invited to their monthly cars and coffee👍🏻 all in all it was a day 😊

Still need to trim the plastic covers down for the sides and get them in place but they are in and being sat in 🤘feels like driving in the comfort of a Cadillac now😁

Well after I get the driver seat in this weekend I think the Frankenwagen is where I want him to be🤘 he’s came a long way in a year and he found his forever home.

My father in law was correct lol seats from a 2010 scion do fit in a 69 VW👍🏻 took some grinding and drilling new holes but he had I figured out in no time🤘

Turned this 1940’s RCA victor into a housing for my JBL Charge 5. At the car shows I can’t leave the bug on so I decided to get artistic lol this will sit in the luggage rack and provide rad tunes for us to enjoy while hanging out🤘 thoughts?😬

Sooo I’m sending my 2010 scion XB to the pick apart and am getting anything I might be able to use in my 69, has anyone ever installed scion seats in their bug before? Or know where I can find out what mods need done to pull it off? Thanks everyone 🤘

Just another brand new part on a 57yr old bug lol it was the starter after all, frank is back up and running for the 10th time in a year lol let’s hope he stays alive for a while now🧟‍♂️🤘 thank you all for the replies on my other post, very helpful info as always, truly appreciate it, keep on keeping on v-dubbers 🤘

Came out tues, flipped the switch, all the dash lights came on so I know I have power, pushed the start button and nothing, battery is fully charged, no blown fuses, replaced the push start button today and still the same thing. Tapped the starter, checked the wiring to it and nothing soooo a new starter will be here tomorrow. Am I missing something? It was running 20min before this happened 🤷🏻
