I'm a EDM artist/sound designer and this is my DIY of riddim/colour riddim [R.Desc]
Hi! Call me Vita.
I'm a bass music lover and I've been making some bass music for a long time, but this is my first riddim attempt.
By the way, I'm also making a lot of presets and minipacks for an affordable price (like $2.50 per pack). If you're like my sound design and want to help me to buy a new laptop for music production, just click here and you'll go to my shop: https://ko-fi.com/vitamirae/link/VITAMIRAE50
From bark fart to dubstep bass
saw bark fart those days and did this creative exercise
Improving my sound design in Serum 2 so I hardly need any effects in the mixer
Ever since I started selling presets, I’ve been working my ass off on my signature sound, including the mixing aspect.
The goal is to create presets you can just drop into the mixer, adjust the gain, and you're good to go, without needing to add a bunch of extra effects.
That’s the result I’m getting so far.
By the way, if you want to buy a pack or see what I already created, you can find plenty for $2.50 here: https://ko-fi.com/vitamirae/link/SERUMFORUM50
I was thinking about starting out as a professional sound designer, so I began making test packs to see if my work would be well-received. And it worked!
Hi! Call me Vita.
I am an indie artist with many pseudonyms. I was thinking about expanding my work to something more than just making music, so I started creating mini packs with presets like the ones in the video, in an accessible way so that everyone can not only expand their own preset library, as well as studying sound timbre and different ways to create their own presets.
And this was the result! Each preset is designed from scratch, and each pack reflects a theme. This one, for example, evokes the sound of 80s synthesizers, 8-bit game timbres, etc. I also focus on creating lofi keys, backrooms, growls, and in the future, I want to create asset packs for gamers (sound effects, ambiences, etc.).
For now I cut the prices in half, meaning that instead of $5 you pay just $2.50 per mini pack. If you're interested, just access it through this link and the discount will be applied automatically not just in that one (VHS Delirium), but in all my mini-packs. Just click the link, select the "mini packs" category and enjoy!: https://ko-fi.com/vitamirae/link/KVR50
And if you want to see ONLY the video package, click here, add the coupon "KVR50" at checkout, and your purchase will be processed with the discount applied: https://ko-fi.com/s/a3700e8f38
Thanks a lot! ❤️
Since I've learned this lesson, I started to feel less anxious about studying music theory/sound design
And the lesson is: Don't think that there's only one method to study music or sound design.
Some people just transform these 2 things and 2 big ass monsters bc they don't even consider that if you're listening to music with a tiny bit more of attention in those elements, for example, you already IS studying music *AND* sound design.
Just because you don't follow any traditional method to do that, it doesn't mean that you aren't already doing it.
ts isn't detuned, i'm just using a slightly different kind of chords than I usually do
Chord prog: A∆9#11 - E∆9#11 - B∆9#11 - F#∆13 - A∆9#11 - E∆9#11, 13 - B∆9#11 - F#∆#11, 13#13 (according to FL Studio detected chord function)
Tried to transform gut genut in a drill trap but a bit more emotional (just a bit)
Track ID: KitschKrieg, Blumengarten, Shirin David - Gut Genug (Kanobos Lodestar Remix)
Cried making this arrangement in gut genut remix
Didn't finished yet, need mix and master but yeah, I reeeally like this kind of arrangement (og beats go down + orchestral score go up in outro)
I've been working on my DIY of sambass and this was the result (Mists - Centro da Cidade)
So, i'm brazilian and fucking love my local music + electronic music. I'm a big fan of sambass (dnb + brazilian bossa nova) and decided to make my version of it. In this song I use an adapted version of bossa nova drum loop and created a melodic dnb in melody part.
For the lore, imagine you traveled til São Paulo city in the far future. All of that ecobrutalism now is full of neon and every person on earth can see thanks to time travel. That's the ambience I tried to bring to this song. Hope you like!
do you use vocodex/fruity vocoder often?
I was making this video to post on Insta/TikTok and remembered how much I miss vocoder in electronic music. I really want to see this technique experimented with more often in EDM scene. The last recent thing I heard using it was Lady Gaga on "Don't Call Tonight" (by Mayhem) and even that was synth-pop but it's been a long time since I've heard it in a track. I used Vocodex here, but there's also Fruity Vocoder, which is lighter and more intuitive than Vocodex. Do you use it often?
Which VST do you use most in FL?
If it's another plugin, it can be a native VST or not, but basically I want to know which plugin you use frequently for all of your sound design. Keys, bass, lead, 808, etc.
did i cook with this one?
my entry for fancy k remix contest (make it rain). did i cook with this one?

What kind of marketplace comes first when you search for sound assets or music/seamless loops for your game?
I'm searching for a good marketplace for sell/negotiate my songs without get buried in a full library. I want to start making sound assets and seamless loops for games but I see that itch.io sells much more games than music tho. I already did one (https://youtu.be/2LDEWC8NLQU) and it performed well in gumroad/ko-fi, but I really want to dedicate a full store with this type of assets. So, when you're searching for sound FXs, music themes or that loops for your game, what's the first marketplace/platform that comes to your mind?
Trying to make a different type of sound design tutorial
It's been a while since I decided to make some tutorials like this, but I'm still trying to find my flow + spedup some things but without loosing information. That's the second try. Is it understandable even with me choosing a no talking style?
Btw, this tutorial is from a preset i've crafted for "vita mirae selecta" vitalbanks. They're for free and this tuto focus more on the sound design + teaching my way to do my shit. If you want the full packs, there's the link:
https://ko-fi.com/s/1fb1c1d31c
And if you want to see more tutos like this, just follow me there:
I created a new pack of stab chords and this was the result (and guess what? Yeah it's for free)
I'm practicing this style of chords that explode in your ears (hence the name supernova) and that's what I've got it in terms of sound design. Is it good? Want it? Just download it here: https://ko-fi.com/s/fbdec24359
I'm also doing some vital tutorials with a huuuge variety of tips and hints. Is you want to see'em, just follow me right there (also free): https://ko-fi.com/vitamirae/posts
And if you liked it and want to support me with any amount, just type the amount when downloading the pack and that amount will be sent to me as a form of appreciation.
Thanks!

how to sound design #01 - Supernova Keys [based in the 2hollis - nerve (aiden* remix)]
I've noticed that a lot of people want to learn more about sound design, so I think I can contribute with some things I've learned in the last 16 years of self study. I'm creating tutorials that don't just replicate presets, but also teach tips about compression, effects, techniques I use, etc.
This is the first of several tutorials that are also going to my Ko-Fi profile. If you watched the video until the end and want to help me, follow me on Ko-Fi and consider contributing $2 or $5 there if you can and want! Any support counts! ❤️
