Top of foot stretch

I've been trying to improve the flexibility of the top of my foot so I can comfortably roll back on them in a kneeling position but months of training is giving me minimal returns.

I'll stretch between sets of exercises, start or finish a workout session with extended focus on it, at home while I watch a show or play with the kids. A few weeks ago I put it off for about a week and it felt like I totally reverted.

As of now I can sit pretty well on them with minimal discomfort but I want to be able to lean back further and eventually get my back to the ground.

Knees and thighs are making good progress especially with reverse Nordic curls.

Thanks

Getting desperate

I need a new job

I am a 33 yo single father with two kids and I do currently have a job and I do have some support through my parents but I currently am living with them because I can't afford to live on my own with my kids, cover bills that are always seeming to grow exponentially, and I feel really left out from the rest of my life.

Currently I am a special education para educator. I do not have a degree but I do have some college. I have been a grounds keeper for a city, lifeguard to manager on duty at a YMCA, warehouse work for two food services, and a security officer. I've also made some income in the past with manual labor, moving, being in a band, and balloon twisting (a bit eclectic I know)

I like helping people but like to avoid selling something or the food services. My current job is Wonderful but the pay cannot support me. Last year I got my EMT certification but I have not been able to get anyone to hire me.

Been trying to get on with a fire department as well with no luck. My mental health is declining but I am seeing a therapist. I just feel dumb, stuck, and falling behind. People tend to say they love me but I always seem to be lacking in some way which puts doubts in my ability to say become a firefighter or paramedic.

***Anyways where can I find a job within the month that can pay more than $26 an hour in Washington State near Seattle requires little experience, none, or that I get a quick cert in and works well with a school schedule?***

Any other places I can look other than places like indeed and government job?

I can do labor but I can't keep up with the standards warehouse work requires and I am trying to stay out of sales and food services.

Also I am still going to go back to school for nursing or something else in the medical field and keep testing for the fire departments. Being able to afford it is something I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around.

I am willing to work and learn but I'm getting scared to take chances being a dad that could lose it all.

Thanks

New job? Recert?

Hi so I have had my NREMT for over a year and a half now and I have not had luck landing a job with fire, private ambulance, or er tech jobs. I am not sure what to do next. How do I keep my cert from expiring?

Where else can I get a job?

I am pretty interested in getting a position at Mary bridge hospital in Tacoma or Good Samaritan in Puyallup Washington as an ER technician but I don't know how to get my name out there other than with job apps.

Any pointers on how to get my foot in the door would be appreciated

Thank you

Ren faire fit

My original tiefling costume I put together Ren faire last year. I just really liked it but I'm not sure when I'll get around to doing it again and improve.

I had a tail too ☺️

Single dad struggling with staying connected to new girlfriend when with kids

I have had my ex partner explain to me that when everyone is together (my girlfriend, my two kids, and myself) that I seem like I am overwhelmed, drowning, or running around like crazy and then she feels like she starts to disappear.

A lot I'm sure could come down to communicating what we need but I don't know if I know what it is I need.

Yes I feel like I have to over perform when I have everyone but my kids are pretty good at getting off track and creating havoc even when I feel I have set everything up perfectly. I have gotten better at slowing down and checking in more frequently with my girlfriend and we are slowly getting her more involved with the kids (she does not have any kids).

Maybe I'm bad at multitasking? My parenting skills are still just kinda sub par? Does she just not understand the time and energy it takes to be a parent? Do I have to find someone who wants to entertain the idea of being a step parent and not just one who is undetermined? Does she simply want more attention than I can realistically give?

There are so many other factors that are involved but this will have to do.

Thanks for any advice. Still pretty new to reddit.
