tâches sur les mains??

F27 traitement brontellix lamotrigine (depuis longtemps) pas d’antécédents autres que depression

Bonjour a tous,

Hallo!

Can you ever truly recover?

Hi everyone,
could some people here share their opinion about that question?
I first got an ED in 2019 and since then relapsed in 2020 2021 2022 2023 2024 and!! 2025
So far this year no relapse but thoughts about my weight/the food i eat never leave my mind especially because I am almost overweight.
Along the years, even when i wasn’t participating in ed behaviors i think I always have the thoughts.

I’m 27 and i’m kinda so done to be struggling with this, and in my brain if i was skinnier it wouldn’t be as bad but I don’t even know if its true.

Is it possible to reach full recovery? to not bodycheck takes photos videos think about your body, the fat on your body how it looks how your clothes fits how much you eat if you eat healthy enough comparing yourself to other people irl and online

Thinking stuff are meant for me to see/read?

Has anyone experienced that? The last few days i’ve had weird moments where i was seeing or reading things and i thought maybe i was meant to see it because it had a message for what i should do ect stuff like that but i doubt its psychosis because I know it sounds crazy and im not convinced of it its more like it wouldnt be surprising if it was like some people are spiritual or whatever and think like that

Like so random but earlier i saw graffitis that said a drug name and i started thinking maybe it meant i should try it or it has another meaning idk yet because i read it outside at that specific time

I don’t understand why my diagnosis is type 1 and not type 2

My psychiatrist wrote on the paper to ask for disability « bipolar type 1 » and wrote I have had manic episode but I’ve never done stuff like what I read here and I’ve never felt euphoric or stuff or it only lasted like 5 days, I mean I’ve had crazy periods where now I’m like wtf but I never 1) slept less than 4h per night 2) spent a lot of money 3) grandiosity 4) talking fast

Please if you are type 1 how do you know?

antidepressants making you suicidal instead of manic?

Has anyone experienced that? I know that a lot of people got diagnosed because they started an antidepressant and got manic/hypomanic, but I know that once I was having hypomanic symptoms but then I was put on an antidepressant and basically got super suicidal in 2 days and attempted like 10 days later

scared of episode triggers

Am I the only one who is terrified of getting an episode everytime something happens that usually could trigger an episode?

Something that is big for me usually is may/june with the first heatwave ect, but also usually in august i go lowkey crazy and ive had eating disorder relapse that month every year for the last 6 years so very scared not gonna lie, but even more scared to go crazy and say things/do things i wouldnt usually do

I also have been waiting for something for months and next weekend it’ll be over + I basically just lost my best friend of 7 years after she fucked me over big time and everything is so stressful

I’m already starting to lowkey get crazy thoughts sometimes and it scares me

Anyways anyone else relates to that?🥲

Could this be considered as some sort of sexual abuse?

When I was 12 years old my older brother’s best friend who was 16 at the time made up a game where we would play a mario game and if we lose we have to remove one piece of clothing. At the time I was being severaly bullied and had no friends so I thought maybe it was a normal thing people did.
When it was time to remove my underwear tho, I was obviously feeling very shy and didn’t want to do it anymore.
He then pressured me by saying that it was okay because I didn’t have hair down there anyways, that he played strip poker with his friends so it was normal ect so eventually I removed it. It was also quite scary because he was completely naked as well

Anyways my question is, does it count as something bad if 1) he was a minor 2) i did it again the next day

Honestly I spent years feeling like a whore because I did this at such a young age and only now I realize that I did nothing wrong

Most embarassing thing you’ve done during a manic episode?

Mine makes me cringe so hard everytime i think about it omg, during that episode I got really into BDSM and did kinda hard stuff anyways very long story, but my mum found out about it and i very seriously started explaining to her what happens in the clubs, how I get hit in front of everyone but she doesnt understand because the vibe feels so special and amazing😍

Heat and (hypo)mania

It’s currently so fucking warm in my country like a severe heatwave and my city is in red alert for the next few days, and I feel like my mood is switching weirdly im starting to feel a bit more wired like I have a weird feeling I cannot explain with words Im still quite tired bc heat makes me lowkey exhausted but im still awake in a weird way and sometimes during the night my thoughts get all scrambled together

Anyways the question is, do some people get hypomanic or manic when the weather is really good/warm/beginning of summer ect?

CPTSD and exhaustion

Anyone else here is struggling so so hard with chronic exhaustion? I sleep well everynight aka at least 7-8 hours, but I keep on having nightmares, during the day I don’t feel super well but not super bad either. I’ve read that you can get tiredness from cptsd because your body is stuck on survival mode, but nothing that I try seems to be helping.

For those who have that issue, what did you do that helped? Is there any medication that helps with that?
Thank you

Sharing my victory of the day!!

Today I ended up valedictorian of my university degree year with really really good grades even tho I deal with severe CPTSD nightmares, flashbacks, I had to start uni again at 26 years old because I had to drop out several times to be hospitalized after suicide attempts/suicidal ideation.

I thought I’d never be able to achieve anything because my treatment kinda affect my cognotive function but anything is possible truly😭😭😭

I wanna start first by saying that I’ve been diagnosed but I still have doubts about if its the right diagnosis because I have other disorders as well.

Does anyone here takes an interest for BDSM while being hypomanic? I’ve had in the past for 2-3 months some kind of BDSM era with veryyyyy out of character behavior aka posting photos online on a specific websites and writing really crazy journal entries, posting bdsm shit on my instagram story including the stuff that were used to hit me in bdsm clubs, showed my bruised ass to like all of my friends, did stuff in public in BDSM clubs i would never usually do and honestly the list goes on.

Thinking about this now makes me cringe so bad that I wanna throw up like wow I feel like I must have been really unwell to do that😭 does it sound like it could be hypomania and has anyone experienced something similar?
