First bike trip to Ladakh in September – need advice from experienced travellers

Hi everyone,
I’m planning my first trip to Ladakh this September and would love some advice from people who’ve been there around the same time.
My current plan is:
Fly to srinagar then go by car to leh .
Spend 2 days acclimatizing.
Rent a bike in Leh.
Ride to Nubra Valley, Pangong Lake, Tso Moriri, Hanle, Lamayuru, and Kargil over about 10–12 days.
A few questions:
Is September a good month for a bike trip, or should I expect any road closures due to snow?
How cold does it get during the day and at night?
What riding gear and clothing are absolutely essential?
Are there any routes or places you’d skip or definitely add?
Any common mistakes first-time riders make in Ladakh?
If you visited in September, what was the biggest challenge you faced?
I’m mainly traveling for photography and videography, so I’d also appreciate recommendations for scenic sunrise/sunset spots or lesser-known roads.
Thanks in advance! Any tips or personal experiences would be really helpful.

From Heartbreak to Real Love: How Did You Rise Again?

You gave your all, and heartbreak still knocked you down. Now, I’m asking you—those who’ve been through it—how did you rise again? If you’ve found love after giving your all and losing, how did it happen? Was it on the road or through the screen? Share your truth—because someone out there needs to hear the real path forward.

Hi everyone! I’m planning my first solo female trip to Kashmir after June 10 and would love some advice from people who’ve traveled there recently

.
Current plan:
3-4 days in Srinagar (Dal Lake, Mughal Gardens, Old City, Shikara ride, renting a bike for local exploration).
Sonamarg by bike.
Pahalgam by bike (probably returning to Srinagar between trips).
Places I’m also considering:
Gurez Valley
Warwan Valley
Nilnag
Faqir Gujri
Choharnag
A few questions:
Is Gurez comfortable and safe to do solo by bike?
Is Warwan worth attempting alone, or should I skip it?
Which of these are simple one-day hikes rather than multi-day treks?
Any hidden gems within a few hours of Srinagar that are safe for a solo female traveler?
Are there any roads or areas I should absolutely avoid?
I’m looking for a relaxed 10-15 day itinerary focused on nature, photography, peaceful places, and offbeat experiences rather than rushing around.
Would really appreciate any honest advice or itinerary suggestions. Thanks

Planning a solo trip to kashmir

How safe is Kashmir for a solo female traveler?
Which areas are safest to stay in?
Any places I should avoid?
Would you recommend it for a first-time solo traveler?

Looking for real experiences, safety tips, budget advice, and anything important I should know before planning.

Thanks in advance!

Planning a 10–15 day solo trip to Sri Lanka (June/July) and would love advice from experienced travelers.

I’m considering Sri Lanka as a solo female traveler and wanted to know:

- Is June/July a good time weather-wise?
- Which areas are best during that season?
- Is Sri Lanka generally safe for women traveling alone?
- Recommended places for nature, beaches, culture, and budget-friendly stays?
- Any scams, transport tips, or cultural things I should keep in mind?

I’m looking for a safe, memorable trip with a mix of adventure and peaceful experiences.

Would really appreciate honest recommendations, route suggestions, or things you wish you knew before going!

I have been married 8-9 years, my husbnd was good initially may be 6 months after that family drama started he wanted his parents to come stay with us initially i was also fine with it, i was also pregnant twice but there was no support from him or his parents, idk neither my parents was so protective or i didn’t wanted to go to my parents home as i couldn’t bare the thing to stay away from my husbnd but in the end i ended up loosing both the times it did hurt me but what hurt me most is after that my husband would not even touch me telling his parents are here it will sound awe full, and that thing like if parents are there he doesn’t talk to me and all i said i don’t want to be with your parents he was like ok and after that he stopped talking to me and ended up with divorce, and after that again he was like give me a chance and all, i was a gal who thought one guy one life till eternal so i gave him 2nd chance knowing that my parents wont support me this time my parents stopped talking to me and 2nd wedding again same things 6months he was good and this time after 4yrs he asked for divorce stating if m not looking after his parents ill divorce you… i just asked one question you knew last wedding was the same thing though you don’t look after me financially, physically , emotionally i was there for you no matter what he was yes talking as if i had done nothing to him, i felt bad, we are not divorced i asked him to return the money that he owes me and until m financially independent i wont go i told he was like ok! But my parens knowing all they would never call me back .. may be yeah i deserve all this! Trusting a guy is the last thing in life!
What was my fault? Giving love a second chance hoping to work it out till end of life?
