hi guys!! another question 😅

i recently have picked the vera tote as my main bag style. i have the one with a front pocket and 6 inner pockets (which i love), i love the long straps, and i just love everything about the bag in general.

i’m taking a 20 hour flight in august and i’m looking for something similar that is also big enough to hold my laptop. is there a larger version of the vera tote? TIA!!

which ones do you think i took home? which ones would you have bought?

pretty frustrated as usually i thrift all vera or get it from the outlets but this past week i bought my first 2 online secondhand items (one on ebay, one on depop). one had much worse fading than what was obvious on the listing and then the other one that appears to be in perfect condition actually has some odd smell that was not at all disclosed.

i’m not sure if it’s like mildew or smoke or dust or a mix (old smoker lady basement type thing), it’s not SUPER strong but i am quite sensitive to smells so it’s really all i notice. is there any way i can treat or am i best just returning?

hi!! i recently purchased a java blue purse for super cheap and knew it would be a little faded, just didn’t expect the front of it to be so noticeable. i’m fine just letting it be but i did want to know if any of you have successfully restored similar condition bags (ie fabric marker/embroidery/etc). thanks!!

apologies for not a great pic, flicked it off pretty quick as i obviously didn’t want it to bite. at very first glance i thought it was a tick, inat says it’s likely a tick, but it’s legs and body and head (so basically everything) is throwing me off so much.

i am a bit of a bug lover so i do know that ticks are arachnids and have 8 legs… so why does this dude look like he has 6???? to me its head and body just is not proportional to a tick. its head is so big!!!! i’ve had multiple ticks crawl on me over the years and they looked so insanely different. it’s legs are also not as segmented and bending like how i normally see ticks do. am i just stupid and don’t know what i’m talking about or is this really not a tick?

i got a squirrel feeder yesterday, they all finally discovered it this morning so it has been very entertaining to watch. i did notice that one of the squirrels has a “bunny tail”. i did first think it was a baby due to it just being a tiny bit smaller in size overall but upon more research, it seems like the only possibility is injury or alopecia/mange.

is there any chance baby was just born like this? i also read that tails aid in warmth, drag when falling from high distances, and help them balance. will this guy be okay? we’re already so attached to this cutie😭

so my family home was built in the 70s and the upstairs bathroom has zero ventilation. all 3 girls in the house use this bathroom, the downstairs one has a fan but only my dad showers down there. throughout the years, there have been tiny specks on the ceiling but NEVER this bad. i came back from uni this past year and i have a strong feeling that this mold is deeper than just the ceiling with how fast it has seemed to spread. it is only in this room and in the crawl space.

in the past, my parents have scraped off a bit and then used some of the “mold killer paint”. it is clearly beyond that point now. we use damp-rid packs hanging on the shower, keep the door and window open post-shower and keep the lights on as well. my mom is very embarrassed about it and wants it gone but my dad keeps saying he “has a plan” but it’s been years and nothing has happened. i think my mom is just worried that if she contacts someone to remove it, it will be too expensive and we won’t be able to get it done.

we have pets in the house as well and i don’t want them to get sick. i’m also worried if it gets worse, it will damage more than just the bathroom. sorry for the ramble but what can i do to help this stop spreading as much as possible until my parents are able to get it removed? TIA

this doll is so unbelievably underrated!!! absolutely obsessed with the red in the wig and honestly love the dress. cannot believe i finally got my hands on one and for so cheap
