Is stray a sad game
I’ve ever been so hyped about playing stray and finally one of my friends gifted it to me, but is it a sad game (no spoilers pls), bcos I’m going thru a very challenging time in my life n I feel like I can’t harbour anything a tiny bit depressing currently. So should I save it for another time or keep playing, I’ve only played it where I got chased off my electro mice after falling into a gutter separated by my cat clan.
Queer as someone in a Muslim country
Hi guys,
Ig, I might js need some consolation or idk great ideas to push thru.
So, hear me out, I’m from Pakistan, was living in a small town until I moved to Lahore for uni, went to a liberals arts college, genuinely discovered myself, found out that I’m gay and really really like girls. Dated 2 girls and 1 boy, realised I never liked the guy and wasn’t ever attracted to him as to the girls. Had a super long situationship with one of my friends too. The uni I went to was amazing, bcos I was openly queer and had so many friends who were/are out and proud. Took gender and anthro, learnt about Simone de B and Judith butler, just moved in these circles where everyone was so inclusive and supportive. And almost all of my friends were openly queer or strong ally’s. Over time, even the most homophobic aholes js accepted me as I was, not making my sexuality smth to break off the friendship over. Or I would be the “bro” in these groups (hyper masc/andro presenting). And then I also tapped into the underground queer scene of Lahore/ Pakistan, communities which would host secret events, book circles, game night, movie screenings n shi like that.
But now, I’m back to the Smol town where I lived before uni, 5 years laters and I feel like I’m losing myself. I’ve been shamed over and over again for being too “boy-like”, I’ve hid all my pride badges, pins, carabiners n clothes with anything rainbow. I’ve lost touch with most of my friends, or the max is I see them on social media, living their life chill asf. I’m constantly around homophobic remarks by my family. My brother keeps on telling me how I need to be more feminine, get my body hair removed, have the demeanour of a girl, im not allowed to wear my sweatpants or tees anymore, I can not play football anymore or even leave the house unless the whole family is going out, im not even really allowed to talk to boys here, I can’t wear my rings or the clothes that really made me feel like myself, no more piercings either. I can’t even play life is strange on tv so no one walks on me, I can’t smoke, I can’t even listen to Clairo while with family in car bcos I’m too afraid to be found out. My colour haired have been chopped, and then sometimes family keeps on talking about finding the perfect guy once I get my masters.
The scary bit, I was never the one to conform, but after 7 months of being here, I’m finally giving up. I can’t take it anymore. I’ve stopped expressing myself thru my clothes n everything I enjoyed n felt comfortable in but I feel so miserable.
I am in touch with some of my friends back in Lahore, and they ask me to come back often or just visit for a short stay but idk how I’ll carry myself, I js feel so awkward in my skin now, I had a falling out with two queer besties who helped me when I first started dating girls, but now I miss them so much. I miss having someone to watch n discuss queer movies with, or discuss potential crushes. My straight friends would still be supportive but I js keep feeling that I’m losing my identity n things aren’t ever going to be the same. As if, now that I’m back here in this town n going forward, it won’t ever be okay to be a brown person who’s queer. (In this country or relating to it), and that is such a devastating feeling bcos I’m sick of hiding. My friends back in uni were out to their siblings, bought dates back home n were chill asf whereas I don’t have that.
Lastly, I watch wlw movies n shows often, and I’ll say, I do think we don’t always get the best representation on tv, I wish ppl knew that there are queer communities in Pakistan as well, thriving in whatever possible vicinity despite the BS n the community I had around me was beautiful n I wish it also had more media presentation showing the positive bits.
Idk, who to talk to hence the post, I don’t want to reach out to my friends either, idk how to cope with this loss of comfort n identity. If anyone went thru smth similar, pls share ur experience, might help me feel less alone here or cope better.
Should I take IELTS on paper or computer based.
With the paper based, I have an access arrangement where the audio might have pauses or extra time maybe.
But the thing is, I’m not used to handwriting anymore, so idk if I’ll be scoring worse on paper based test as opposed to CBT.
Can anyone share what are most of the differences between the two so I can make an informed decision. Or well, a better decision.
This is for IELTS academic.

So, I made a post here about LIS and yall were so helpful.
Idk what to choose!!! Rachel is so confusing and the mechanics of this game are so different.
There are barely any headups if particular actions will have consequences, in the last one, it was every other second almost.
I want the romance with Rachel but I feel like I keeping fucking up, I’ve only played the first episode but do I put on a show for her or do I not confess, I feel like I’ve messed up.
And then I feel like Rachel is kinda mean tbh. And I also lowk miss max and Chloe’s blue hair.
And I can’t get the story of LIS out of my head, I act in ways based on what Ik from the previous game, Rachel is gonna die, she’s gonna be with frank, David will be nicer in the end so what’s the point of all the fuck ups now. And Nathan will be a prick tho he’s timid rn.
So do dialogue and little things like attacking the dudes at concert or not have an affect?
This game really is taking adjustment.
PS: I’ve only played the first episode yet.
I asked my universities sports office to write me an acknowledgment letter confirming my leadership role as the captain. But during my time, I had a fracture mid game, but got a sling and continued to lead the team.
Would it be a good idea to mention this, the sports office is saying it would hurt my application.
Any opinions?

Hey guys,
I hope anyone here can help, my moms 60+ and recently taken up swimming.
Her head feels squeezed in the swimming cap, and she couldn’t fit in the XXL single swim suit she got for herself.
So, what are her options? She’s been obsessing over this a lot.
Ive been thinking perhaps a stretchable sports tee shirt with gym leggings?
But what do we do about her cap?
She’s Muslim so that also is to be taken into account, a lot of swimsuits that I’ve seen online for 60+ women aren’t what my mom would wear aka tankinis. And she has a round belly so perhaps that’s why the XXL swimsuit couldn’t fit.
Please help.
