Every game I play crashes after a minute or so of gameplay. I have tried 3 games on it and each one crashes after a little bit of time. I cleaned the insides (It was really dusty), and it seems to have done nothing. I didn't see any leaky capacitors, but there was some flux (which should be harmless). What could be wrong? Am I just not plugging it in right? Is it because the back isn't screwed in? Anything helps.
Honestly not as difficult as everyone says, except for the last two motherfucking levels.
When I knew what to do in the Undercaves and the Lagoon they weren't as bad, a couple other levels were really diffucult though:
Hard Water: getting crushed by all those ice blocks made this level a pain in the ass.
Trilobite Circle: the level where you fight the Asterite; if you know what you're doing, most of the level's pretty easy, but the Asterite boss was a real pain.
Welcome to the Machine: I passworded to the final boss to train so I wouldn't have to play this nightmare of a level a lot (I still did), took me a lot of tries to beat the final boss when I passworded to it, and quite a few more when I was able to finally make it through Welcome to the Machine. This 6-minute auto-scroll maze with enemies that almost immediately kill you took me more tries than any other level, it doesn't help that there are no checkpoints and even though the final boss is its own level, if you die, you get sent back to Welcome to the Machine.
This level insanely difficult for me the first few tries when I used A+B for the sonar, but when I learned you only needed A to kill the Vortex and the Queen, it made my life so much easier. I eventually started to hate the level less after figuring this out.
Overall, a pretty fun game with a very unique and interesting story. Will try out the second one sometime in the future. If you can beat the difficulty spikes, then this is actually a pretty enjoyable game!
Like I'm glad the new pressing has the samples, but the vocals sound so quiet, only the bass sounds any good. Is this because of the PVC gassing? Like it only came out a month ago. 😭

There was a TTS website that had all of the Microsoft Talk It! voices on it, and had the robot for Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy on the top left or right corner. Does anyone know the site?
I also got the percussionist playing bongos to sign my floppy disk! (And forgot the camera was on manual for the first half of the show)
My friend met him one night, but that's all he could remember about that night.
