My landlord is having pest spraying company come for routine maintenance

I'm very nervous. He said I could tell them not to spray certain places. I don't want it anywhere near my room or even the entire upstairs where I have Slim Shady. Will everything be okay? Should I tell them not to spray in the house at all? It's routine maintenance, we don't have any kind of bugs. Well except for Slim Shady and my fruit fly culture lol

I was also wondering where you guys are getting feeders from? The store i got him at is specialized for reptiles and insects and they said crickets and I know that isn't the best idea. I fed him crickets so far but I'm planning to get flies tomorrow.

Are there exotic pet stores that sell mantids?

I've been looking to get a mantis and seen a few reptile and exotic pet stores that sell invertebrae like tarantulas but non for mantids. Anyone know of one in the Chicagoland area?

I think life insurance is limited if the recipient is sent to prison (correct me if I'm wrong). In this scenario, my character framed his mom for a murder he committed. I want it to be that he would benefit from this because he would get the house, I suppose he could still get it whether it's completely in his name or not. Is there any other benefit he would get to give him a motive for this?
