👋🏼 hello from little chloe (13 weeks now)

I’m trying to plan ahead and during our last vaccine appointment asked how much it would be to spay. I’m in SF and I get it, everything is expensive and they quoted me $850 + likely $200 in prep bloodwork. Am I crazy or is that the going rate nowadays? I called a second opinion for an estimate and the reception said they start at $1k too. My last pup was spayed 16 years ago and I have no idea how much we paid.

Second Q for insurance. After a bunch of research, I went with Pet’s Best but after going through 2 rounds of vaccines and a tapeworm issue, it really didn’t do much of anything. Barely any of it was covered after spending roughly $700. I understand the different limits but has anyone had good experiences with them long term? I’m paying $70/mo. I used to have Nationwide for my previous pup and opted for Pet’s Best this time around because coverage seemed better. But maybe it isn’t 😅

Sorry, kind of vent but also am I crazy lol.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

TS Tom WA #7228 - this is my fourth purchase from Tom so nothing new to report there. He’s straight forward but not rude and quick to respond. Quick PSP and tracking.

6/15 - inquired, I had heard Kendall Factory was the best for TR. Tom confirmed it was really good quality.
6/18 - paid PPFF. Because this bag is huuuuge (47x24x29cm), shipping was high and he suggested I buy more to fit in there lol so I had to scour his album more.
6/19 - Added BV 🐕 and ❤️ narrow ring.
6/22 - PSP, received and approved.
6/24 - 📦 pic received, he always sends a pic of the box with a DHL waybill.
6/26 - FedEx tracking # received.
7/5 - arrived! 🥳🥳🥳 Sped home during lunch and ripped that over-taped box wide open 😂

The quality is GORGEOUS. I can’t gush more about how soft she is. I was hunting for something with that slouch and she is chefs kiss 😙

Others I tried that I just couldn’t vibe with: Y$L Y Tote (too structured + arm hold only), Go¥ Artois (too structured even though I loved the zipper + strap ok length), Go¥ St. Louis PM (great flimsy slouch + strap too short for me), Neverfull MM (probably the closest but a little firmer than I wanted). Thank goodness my slouchy tote hunt is finally done.

Also, the BV 🐕 is the cutest thing ever. I haven’t seen the auth but she is smooth, weaving looks good to me and can’t wait to wear it with my tote.

I’ll admit I’m knee deep into the 6.18 sales, already placed orders with Tom, Griffin and Janie last week and trying not to panic buy before the deadline. But, how do I pick when three of my main TS have such different prices!?!

I’ve been 👀 TR Park Three tote for work. Kendall factory confirmed to be the best and according to all 3, in stock.

Options:
A) Tom $229.50 + $140 ship cause it’s huuuge. He straight up told me to find more stuff to shove in the bag to get my shipping monies worth.

B) Baobao $234 + $77 ship. Confirmed price goes up 6.19. But, does anyone think shipping may go down? I’ve seen some debates on “sale” pricing.
