A comment on a reaction video from a Green Jellÿ member shares some Tool history

Interesting comment posted in Elizabeth's reaction video today. A few nuggets shared there that I've never heard. I'll put the link in the comments if anyone wants to watch it.

Please Welcome Our New Moderator, u/destructo_girl!

I’m very happy to welcome u/destructo_girl to the r/CarinaRound moderator team.

Not long after launching this community, it became quickly apparent that she has both a deep knowledge of Carina’s work and a genuine passion for the artist and the art. Just as importantly, she consistently brings kindness, positivity, and thoughtfulness to the community, qualities we can never have too much of on Reddit.

As r/CarinaRound continues to grow, I’m thrilled to have someone who clearly cares about Carina’s music and about making this a welcoming place for everyone joining us.

Please join me in giving a very warm welcome to our newest moderator, u/destructo_girl!

Father & Son Enthusiasts

Growing up, my dad was always turning wrenches on something. Sometimes it was for the enjoyment of building or fixing a car, and sometimes it was simply out of necessity. He brought me alongside him at a young age, and I learned more than I ever realized at the time.

Fifty years later, we attended our first car show together, each with one of our own cars competing. It was a special father-son experience, and I found myself cheering just cheering for Dad to get the win.

We were surrounded by incredible builds, met some genuinely great people, and made memories that I'll never forget.

Welcome! Show us your Prized Possession

Welcome to r/PrizedPossession.

This community is about objects that matter, not because of their monetary value, but because of their story.

Your post should include:

• A photo of your item

• A short explanation of why it’s meaningful

Family heirlooms, unusual artifacts, and sentimental keepsakes are all welcome.

If it has a story, it belongs here.

The idea behind this subreddit is to share stories, connections, memories, and our collective history and humanity through the objects which come into and out of our possession and lives.

They may very well be antique or modern, collectible or common, valuable or quite the opposite. Rare or common, heavy in sentiment or lighthearted and silly; all are encouraged and welcome. What matters here is that they are meaningful to you.

On the way to a track day...

I was commenting that I only allow bottled water in my GT3 cup holder. A colleague, who clearly trusts them more than I, then sent me this photo. I like to live dangerously but not THAT dangerously. We then moved into a debate over if his detailer would love him or hate him when the inevitable happens. The drinks were consumed before the laps started.

A phenominal example of an Austrian bronze using chunk, bead, and stained glass. Separate lights in the base, globe and shade.
