So sad to hear of the passing of Scott Hastings, after complications from cancer treatment - just heard about it on BBC Five Live, report up here on The Scotsman:

An incredible player, a highly insightful and upbeat commentator, and the best ambassador for the Scottish game you could imagine.

Little fella popped down to pose this morning.

Took the large lens out to some local woods round the back of the housing estate we live on. Have seen firecrests there regularly over the past couple of years, and they didn’t disappoint in making an appearance today!

Spotted in a tree giving itself a good clean. From where I was, I felt it was blackbird size. I know what the Apple photo ID says it is, but I’m after a second opinion or two.
