ES-137 custom, flatwound

I had my ES-137 custom set up with flatwound strings - I have an SG and a Telecaster too, wanted to push this guitar in a really different direction to do something those other two couldn’t. Really pleased with the results.

Took it to a music weekend with friends, and nobody had seen one before - I guess there weren’t a lot made.

Close-up pic…

…of our nightly visitor. How are they looking to everyone - trying to work out if the white white things are love or something?

Right on time…

I swear this little fella is waiting on the other side of the wall until he hears me putting the food out… 2 minutes after I went inside with the dog 🤣

Age, male or female?

A regular guest in our garden - what age do we think it is? And is it a boy or girl?

Highland Park Packaging

Just when you think it can’t get any worse, you bump into Highland Park in the airport and somehow they’ve made the new packaging worse again it seems.

Timelapse experiment

I have an OM-5, and have borrowed my brother’s Olympus M300 4.0. I’ve been mainly using it for nature photography, but last night tried a timelapse. Had never used the function before, super impressed at how easy it was. 2 minutes as an interval wasn’t a bad first guess either! Any advice for using the function?

Took the large lens out to some local woods round the back of the housing estate we live on. Have seen firecrests there regularly over the past couple of years, and they didn’t disappoint in making an appearance today!

Spotted in a tree giving itself a good clean. From where I was, I felt it was blackbird size. I know what the Apple photo ID says it is, but I’m after a second opinion or two.
