GFX 100, 32-64. My first motorcycle. I have shot cars plenty of times. Motorcycles are a different challenge though. I always liked wider shots of cars in an interesting environment. but I am finding I need to get creative with placement in the scene because its much smaller than the car. It's easy for the bike to get lost. So trying to get interesting places to give the subject a sense of place while also not losing the motorcycle or cutting out too much of the scene. I also made this little wood block so the bike would stand up straighter. on the kickstand alone it has quite the lean. Which can work for somethings but i like it more upright

But I am the kind of person that needed to be older and wiser (42) before getting a personal rocket ship. Put about 500 miles on it so far in a couple weeks after getting my permit. I still got some practicing to do before going back for my endorsement. Got this after years of owning an S2000 and a Rivian R1T. I wanted something that would combine some of the best attributes of those 2 vehicles

Its like when I "quit" smoking and would find stupid reason to leave the house. Well I eventually quit smoking, but this is giving me similar vibes. Here is a dump of photos from yesterday. I also shot a roll of film on my Hasselblad. but those don't come back for another week. It was fun thinking about riding an all electric bike while photography it with a fully mechanical camera

Sun came out today, so I rode downtown and to Alki beach for some tasty photos

I am new rider and new owner of a Livewire One. been on it a few weeks now and today felt good enough to ride with some camera gear to shoot some photos

I think it is time to upgrade to the gfx 100s ii. Packing my bag to take on a motorcycle to shoot around town today.

I forgot to add this to my post earlier. You could see the pearl because it's overcast today. And when they are on the car it's a little more subtle than this.

Got my wheels back from powder coating and new tires. Seattle powder coating did an awesome job. I then went over that with violet pearl and clear. It's pretty subtle, needs hard sun light to really see it. New headlights are in but not aimed yet. Though out of the box they seem pretty straight. From driving a little through a tunnel today I would say just a smidge up. the cut off is nice and clean. light output in the tunnel seemed really good. Gotta find a flat dark place near my house later to get the adjusted. Over all I am really liking the look of the car after year and years of the same thing....... 🔥 🧥 On 😆😆😆😆
