27M | Bangalore : Looking for fellow vegetarian women in the city to vibe and see where it goes.

Hey there, I(27M) am a Software Engineer working in Bangalore earning a decent package, and with a decent family background. I'm a localite :)

About me :

- Sports enthusiast - I play regular cricket and badminton, so bonus points if you're into these sports as well :p

- 5'11, well built

- A mindful foodie

- Love to travel and explore places and various cultures.

- I'm a keeper, I value connections and try to retain them as much as I can.

- a Hindu Brahmin

- *Vegetarian*

- Occasionally drinking, never smoked.

Now coming to the potential criteria I'm looking for in a girl are :

- must be a vegetarian, because I believe food is a very underrated bonding factor.

And I feel pukish looking at meat, so I can't really compromise on this one, and at the same time I don't want the girl to compromise on her diet as well, she's free to choose what she wants to eat, but just that I can't do it.

- Into fitness or any sort of physical activity.

- Must be a non-smoker. Drinking should be fine.

- caste is secondary, a Brahmin is preferable, but again, as long as she has good family values and is moderately religious that shouldn't matter.

- emotionally intelligent. This one is a major make-or-break characteristic according to me. When I mean EQ, it is not subjective, it is relative, relative to my EQ. I'm not expecting something extraordinary, one must be understanding enough.

- preferably an adventure-freak, open to adventure activities like trekking, hiking, rafting, amusement park rides etc. Doing all of these together will be so much fun, and I love seeing a hearty laugh on the face of the woman I love.

Coming to my past, I have had one relationship before, no situationships whatsoever. I'm now honestly looking to date and check compatibility before we lock in and see how it goes. If you're looking for the same, please do HMU :)

After my first relationship, I am starting to crave for it more.

I(27M) recently broke up (4 months back). We were still very much attached to each other when we ended things due to certain incompatibilities which we thought were spoiling a lot of things for us.

Now after experiencing something so genuine and compassionate, I'm starting to feel hollow from the inside, and worried if I will ever find something similar again. I kind of love connections with women who know themselves well, and are sure about what they want, honesty goes a long way. I'm looking for someone who's a vegetarian, for a simple fact that I'm one as well, and I believe that food is one of the greatest bonding factors in a relationship, and I would want us to align on that.

I genuinely want to date, and see how things go for me. I never used dating apps before and neither want to now, which makes things slightly tricky for me.

I'm a software engineer, and I play sports regularly. 5'11, and a big time foodie.

As a Brahmin in this generation, I'm tired and confused about my future.

For some background, I(27M) lost my dad 4 years back, because of the severe health crisis which he faced because of his lately developed drinking habits because his businesses took a huge hit in the COVID. It was a stressful time for me as I had barely graduated. Even on the day of my graduation, I went alone to the University for my degree felicitation and later went straight to the hospital.

After his passing, I had a lot of debts to clear and my family to look after. Thankfully I got placed in my college campus placements. I was barely able to meet ends, funded my sister's education and my mom's surgeries later on.

Amidst all this, I started to worry about my future, and my romantic life. I started to panic looking at the demands of Brahmin women for their groom. The list was never ending. Physically I'm fit enough, I play regular sports, I'm 5'11 and all that, but financially I'm slowly getting there, not sure how long it will take me, but I feel by the time I do that, all of the good Brahmin women would be married and settled. I'm quite frustrated with this right now.

I dated one woman, and even though we had our beautiful moments we ended up breaking up after a year because of a lot of incompatibility issues between us.

Now I genuinely want to date and see how I get along, but honestly I would prefer a vegetarian atleast, if not a Brahmin. I can't compromise if they consume meat, that's just against my principles.

27M | Bangalore. Looking to date for a few years before deciding on marriage.

Hey y'all, so I(27M) am a Software Engineer working in Bangalore earning a decent enough package.

A lil background about me :

- Big time sports enthusiast

- Not much into tech (I know this is a shocker coming from an IT guy but yeah lol), in my "wanna touch grass" phase

- A mindful foodie, trying to get my protein requirements through a vegetarian diet.

- Love to travel and explore places and various cultures.

- I'm a keeper, I value connections and try to retain them as much as I can.

- a Hindu Brahmin

-5'11

- Vegetarian

Now coming to the potential criteria I'm looking for in my partner would be:

- must be a vegetarian, because I believe food is a very underrated bonding factor, and I feel pukish looking at meat, so I can't really compromise on this one, and at the same time I don't want the girl to compromise on her diet as well, she's free to choose what she wants to eat, but just that I can't do it.

Doing all of these together will be so much fun, and I would love to do it with the woman I love.

I have had one past relationship, if that matters. I'm initially only looking to date and get to know each other, break some ice, and then think about future prospects, I don't wanna rush into anything.

27M : How reasonable are my criteria for my future partner?

Hey y'all, so I(27M) am a Software Engineer working in Bangalore earning a decent package and still in the same company in which I got placed after my graduation here. I'm a localite.

A lil background about me :

- Sports enthusiast (cricket & badminton)

- Not much into tech (I know this is a shocker coming from an IT guy but yeah lol)

- A mindful foodie

- Love to travel and explore places and various cultures.

- I'm a keeper, I value connections and try to retain them as much as I can.

Doing all of these together will be so much fun.

- must be a man hater.

I'm not really actively looking for dating right now, but I just had these thoughts in my mind. Does having these criteria make me come off as judgemental? These are just my preferences, and everyone is open to having their own set of preferences as well.

Any active redditor in Ecospace, Bellandur?

Some background about myself :

I(27M) have been working in a company here in ecospace for the past 4 years, I gotta follow the 12-day office policy which is honestly a pain in the arse because I travel from South Bangalore. I don't really have "friends" friends in my office, it's all very formal, and I just have my lunch and snacks alone in peace.

I'm looking to meet people here, to have some genuine unwinding conversations over coffee, or make some plans together after work. And again, I'm posting this because I know how horrible the traffic is, and how distance can kill the vibe, so if we are in the same tech park, things can probably get easier to plan. Hmu if you're interested :)

27M, NOT looking for a partner.

I am based out of Bangalore, working as a software engineer, living here since birth. I came across this sub as randomly as y'all did while scrolling reddit. The posts were really having so much effort and I couldn't believe people would actually not mind getting their partner from reddit for marriage, that's crazy.

I joined this one, to just read the posts of people who come up with so much details and information about themselves, pickup lines and what not.

I recently had a breakup, and I'm still trying to get over it by getting myself busy with sports and work. Still trying to work on myself, and build a corpus for my family, all while dealing with the deepest of emotional turmoil, and it just gets suffocating at times. This sub kinda rekindled some hope inside me. I have met people from reddit, in fact I dated someone from reddit as well. Currently, I'm not looking for a partner, rather I'm looking to just talk, have deep conversations, share trauma experiences with each other, and probably gel along.

Drinks sesh at Bob's JP Nagar post work today?

27M here, I have been sober for too long now and I genuinely want to let some steam off today. Hmu if you're up for a no-pressure setting with just good conversations and alcohol. If we vibe, we can be good friends, else this could just be a good social experiment lol. Hmu if you're interested :)

P.S. : I'm not looking at dating or anything romantic.

27M : Is my hairline receding?

I(27M) have always had long hair, even if it comes with the cost of a hell lot of maintenance and the wicked hairfall. But offlate, I have started to observe that my hairline is starting to recede, and that's gotten me worried, on top of this the Bangalore hard water doesn't help at all. Have the water softeners helped you guys here?

What are some of the good working products for you? Natural products preferred.

A call for RR Nagar folks on this sub, what y'all upto?

Hey peeps, I have been living in this part of Bangalore for the past 2 years, and honestly it's one of the best areas of the city. But the only sad part is that most of my friends live very far off, and I'm barely able to meet them.

I genuinely want to make some good fun-loving easy going friends here, to probably just go on a drink or two when we are too worked up with the professional life, just to unwind, explore a few cafes around, take the Turahalli trek, and go on breakfast runs etc.

So if you're open and interested, do HMU. 27M this side.

Has anyone of you got a ZSR circumcision done in India because of phimosis? How was the experience post surgery?

Hey y'all, so I (26M) am having Grade 5 Phimosis, and my sex life has gotten affected by this. I got it checked today, and I was told to get a ZSR circumcision done, because the foreskin is very tight and never retracts.

I'm quite nervous and clueless on this, and wanted to know from people who have got this done. Please let me know how you dealt with it, and how did it affect your activities post surgery?

Thanks :)

Hey y'all, 27M here, I'm having severe Stage 4 Phimosis, and I'm looking to get it checked at a good reputable clinic. I have heard that Pristyn Care is quite good enough. Please let me know if you're aware of any, if you or anyone you know has faced this.

Thanks :)

Hey y'all, I'm from RR Nagar, and I am honestly fed up of traveling long distances in the traffic to meet my friends everytime. I have shifted here recently, and I'm genuinely looking to make some new friends around here, to plan and have some sports/drinks sesh meet ups around here.

There are lots of badminton courts here where I play by joining on playo. There are some nice pubs and food joints here as well, like the Daysie, The Full Circle. If you're around, and want to connect, do hmu :) 27M here

P.S : I'm not looking to date or for anything romantic.

I have never really used dating apps before 😭

This time I thought of giving it a try, but have been hearing of way too many scams happening on these apps like Tinder and Hinge. So I thought I might try out something genuine and regional, like Aisle or any other Kannada dating app?

It's got nothing to do with the language, but with the ethnicity, so yeah I would still judge you for your English lol. So if you guys have used any apps like these or maybe if you have heard of 'em, please do drop some tea ☕
