We met in the women's bathroom for some reason and we were matching shirts? He was very friendly and we chatted for a while. The funny part is that we both have big lips and he pointed at mine and went like "do you have fillers in your lips?" And I was like "me? Noo.. why are you asking? Yours look better anyways" but haaland waved his hand and replied in the Britishest accent ever "nah, fock off mate" LOL. What a nice guy.

Notice how I didn't say "again"? I'm genuinely crying while writing this.

I don't know if this is the right sub but I used to not be instrested in football at all. Till like 2021/2022 where I began larping. Cristiano Ronaldo made me fall in love with this sport and I began craving more once the WC was over. then became a fan.

I love real Madrid so much. Specially the old real Madrid and I found myself liking every player that is relevant to that legendary club even when I didn't know they were. I even admired Zidane when I was younger and wasn't interested in football.

I wasn't there in 2015-2018 when real Madrid was at its prime. My favourite footballer is Sergio Ramos and I'm just incredibly sad I wasn't actually there watching him play live and all. The fact that I'm just watching some old clips currently makes me so sad. the first league I was interested in after the WC was Ligue 1. I supported PSG for Ramos.

Don't get me wrong, I love new real Madrid players like Mbappé, Jude and Cucurella (yes I do like him rn) and other new stars even outside real Madrid but I just WISH there was a way I could experience old football other than watching highlights, documentaries or clips.

Edit: thank you all but I don't think I phrased my words right. I wasn't complaining about our current performance level at all (even though I'm definitely aware it's not the best). I was just a little upset I'll never experience THAT specific prime again. I'm pretty sure RM will keep shining in the future though.
