M12 vs M18 inflator

Thinking of getting an inflator to add to my truck kit. I carry the M12 stubby, so M12 would be great.

  1. Is the M12 good? Can it deal with 33s on a truck? I'm not airing down; just thinking of a truck or trailer tire needing enough air to get me to pavement.

  2. I see some HD sales this weekend - what's the hot deal?

any reason to buy a dedicated charger?

I just brought home an IONIQ5, and it came with a charger.

Is there any technical or safety reason to install a hardwired charger, and not use the one Hyundai included?

I don't need to charge quickly; 15-30a of 240v will be all the speed I require.

Brought one home

Just picked up a red, AWD SEL. The closest one in red (there are none anywhere I looked) was 150 miles away and I had a nice drive home.

It'll take a bit to figure out all the little things, and a I have some questions but it's a damn nice car. Especially for under $40k out the door.

Is there any way to get the cruise control to not brake hard just before a corner? Multiple times it would slow from 75-80 down to 60 as I was passing, going into a corner on the freeway. I must have looked like a complete douche, mashing the brakes in the left lane and dottering through the corner.

financing with Hyundai

I'm about to pull the trigger on an IONIQ 5, and some dealerships say there's an $8,750 discount for financing. Other dealers are offering $3,000 on cash deals or 0% interest on financing.

I haven't seen any dealer offering all 3. It makes no sense to me.

If I take the 8,750 discount, does anybody know the rules on early payoff?

I'm trying to place two fittings into a pipe plug/cap.

I want them to be as close to the inner ring as possible, and 180* apart. I want the threads of the fittings to be touching the tangential construction lines.

I'm using the constrain tool to place them on the plug, but I'm not seeing a way to constrain the OD of the threads to the tangent of the construction line. I am unable to select the construction line - because it's not a face.

Ho0w would you do this?

TL;DR - what's a good way to strengthen less than awesome 1/2" plywood for RV cabinetry. Mostly concerned about joining the corners.

-----

I've built cabinets before - shop cabinets, and everything for a house I built a few years ago. I'm not asking for basics.

I'm building a travel trailer, and weight is an issue. I'm going with 1/2" ply for my cabinets.

My only good source for plywood that's better than construction grade is 45 miles away so I phoned in an order. I wanted to save a few bucks and went with a birch, rather than Baltic Birch. At delivery, I realized the inner plies are weak. I'm thinking that it's southeast Asian bamboo or one of those oddball wood/glue that smells bad when you cut it.

I normally use Dominoes, and the occasional pocket screw to join the panels. I'm not convinced that these will hold up when I screw the face of one panel into the edge of another - like attaching the rear and top stringers.

Planning on faceless, with undermount Euro slides and 35mm hinges.

So, I'm looking for ideas to reinforce the edges of the ply so the screws or Dominoes will hold. Any thoughts?

And yeah, I know that buying BB is the best option. Trying to avoid that one - everything in insanely expensive at the moment, as you know.

- I googled this question and didn't find an answer to the question I'm asking -

I'm building a travel trailer, and in order to reduce weight, I'm considering hanging textured wallpaper in a few places.

My concern is that the underlayment isn't super smooth. It's not terrible, but it's plywood with a bit of texture here and there.

Does anybody have experience with textured wallpaper in a less than perfect environment?

This is what I'm considering: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Graham-Brown-Bead-Board-White-Paintable-Prepasted-Wallpaper-15274/100625997
