Snakes I’ve found in northwest Tennessee so far this year.

A nice little variety. My first time seeing the Timber in the wild.. super exciting. Still holding on to hope to see the elusive eastern hognose this year, maybe 🤞🏻

Mommy and Daddy Fishing Spiders

This photo does no justice to the size of mommy spider. She was larger than my palm.

My grandparents moved out of their house and into assisted living about a month ago. She couldn’t take them all, so I was very graciously gifted a lot of my grandma‘s houseplants that I fawned over every time I visited them. I was anxious about bringing them home - I’m not super experienced with keeping houseplants alive. I was mostly nervous about this girl here, the Thanksgiving cactus, which happens to be my favorite one, BUT she is BLOOMING after a little over a month with me. I think she likes it here 🥹 any tips for keeping her healthy and thriving would be appreciated!
