My new Pom mix is about 14 lbs. I want a harness for him that will help prevent tracheal collapse. I was looking at the Gooby harnesses and the cute patterned ones from Lucy and Co. Let me know if you have any good recs. He is longer and more athletic than my other toy Poms, and can get out of a loose harness.
~2 year old rescue, about 13 lbs :) we think he’s something mixed with Pomeranian.
It’s been almost a month and we don’t have a name yet. We think he’s most likely a eskie/pom mix. Some of our favorite names so far:

I adopted an approximately 2 year old Pomeranian/American Eskimo Dog mix a week ago. I have no idea if he’s had any housetraining before, but he’s had 2 different owners before me.
We watch him inside and take him out every 1.5 hours or when I can tell he has to go. We are trying to train him to ring a doggy bell when he wants to go out but no success so far. He didn’t have any accidents this entire week (besides the first day) but now that I’ve started to space his potty times out more, he has been going inside. When I catch him going inside I immediately interrupt him and take him outside. We go to the same spot every time and he is good at going outside. But if I wait longer than an hour and a half he will pee in the apartment.
I reward him every time he goes outside and we have a routine. I’m not sure what else to do. I know some people say to crate him if he is not house trained but he starts to bark and whine like crazy if he’s in the crate and I’m not in the same room as him.
Is he just not able to hold his pee, being a smaller dog? My parents are coming over during the day to watch him for now but this isn’t sustainable—someone is not going to be around to walk him every hour. He has been to the vet and had everything checked and there are no issues there. Does it just take time? To me it seems like he knows he isn’t supposed to go inside but just can’t hold it very long. Help!
Hi! I just got a small dog. I live in an 800 sq ft two bedroom with my boyfriend, by the beach in California, US. Living room and kitchen area is about ~500, bedroom ~180, office ~120. He is also moving his cat in. I am really sensitive to smells and want an air purifier for each room to reduce animal odors.
My budget is probably up to $100 per filter but I’d like to stay lower if possible.
I adopted this Pomeranian mix a few days ago and he is the sweetest ever! I got him from a Facebook rehoming group for Pomeranians, he was being neglected and mistreated and I just had to go get him. His coat was thin and in really bad shape when I picked him up, but I saw pictures of him before they had him and he looked much fluffier.
I think he could be mixed with Eskimo and pom, maybe something else too? He is about 15 pounds at the moment. Some people said he might be Pomchi but I don’t know. His snout is much longer than any Pomeranian or chihuahua I’ve seen and he has long legs and big paws. He looks very foxlike and he LOVES people. We are waiting on DNA test results right now, but what do you think?
Just adopted this sweet little fox. (He was rescued from a neglect situation so he is underweight and his coat is not as full as it should be right now 😢) What do you think he’s mixed with? He is pretty tall and bigger than my Pomeranian/Pekingese mix with a more fox like face.
Hi! I just adopted a Pomeranian mix today. He is estimated to be about 2 years old, and he was in a bad living situation prior to this. He just got out of that situation 3 days ago so he is very nervous and has gone through a lot in the past few days. I don’t know if he is potty trained but he has gone in my apartment a couple times since getting here.
Right now I have him in a smaller room just for him with his food, water, crate, playpen and toys. He is already very sweet and clingy to me but this worries me as I have to go back to work soon and my mother will be taking care of him during the day. (She lives about 10 minutes from me)
I have him leashed whenever he is not in his room and I take him out to the potty area every hour with a treat if he goes outside (he hasn’t gone outside yet) if he goes pee inside I immediately tell him no and take him outside to do his business.
I plan to put him in the crate at night but move it to our bedroom. I don’t know if I should crate train him or not as the previous owners left him in a crate for long periods of time and neglected him. He immediately starts to cry if I am not in the room with him. I don’t want to raise him to have separation anxiety and need him to be okay being alone for a couple hours at a time.
Please help me set a regimen for him. My mother is going to watch him during the day but I am not sure she’ll be able to be with him 24/7 sustainably. Once he gets settled in and acclimated, I plan to let him go over to her house to play with her Pomeranian while I’m at work. But I think that’s too much stimulation at first.

Seller said they shipped like 4 days ago but it still says awaiting shipping. It’s been over 10 days now and the order got canceled and refunded. Is there a chance they actually did ship?
I also have another order (different seller) about to get refunded because the seller didn’t ship in time. Not sure why this is so common?
