Home made fermented mango-habanero hot sauce, handmade cauliflower wings, and waffle fries!
First time with a ferment and first time making cauliflower wings!
Basic lil quesadilla
Just a simple little quesadilla. I don’t have a big enough pan/skillet/anything to get the edges as crispy as I’d like so I had to scoop and spread the sour cream as opposed to a dip like I’d prefer but it still turned out alright.
Flour tortillas, fajita veggies, Violife Mexican shredded cheese.
Was too tired to properly plate it or get my usual staged photo so remember to give your mom a call <3
Tofu shish taouk
Made some tofu shish taouk. Turned out alright. Definitely would’ve been better grilled but I worked yesterday and had work today and it was already 10pm. Definitely still pretty good though :) reckon I could’ve packed the skewers more but I’ve never made them and didn’t know if putting more would cause cooking issues.
Also tried to toss the leftovers that didn’t make it onto the skewers in the air fryer. That didn’t work, only thing that made was a mess lol
First fermentation, we have some bubbling!
Some bubbles have appeared in my first ferment about 72 hours in!
Goal is a habanero-mango hot sauce, has onion ginger and sweet bell pepper in for additional flavor
Corn rib tips + Chickpea salad!
I boiled the corn to soften them, made a lil glaze out of chili oil tikka masala seasoning and dark cayenne pepper, then cut them in half and covered with the glaze, then popped in the air fryer
The dipping sauce is just a vegan mayo, more of the chili oil, and sugar with a teenage bit of tomato sauce
Chickpea salad is just chickpea, green onion, celery, dill, salt, and vegan mayo. Intentionally left messy for the pic, thought it was homey 🥹
It is too fucking early for yall new Watterson commuters to be acting a fool
Turn off your stupid bitch brights, quit speeding your fugly bitch ass up when you see someone turn on their turn signal, and get off my ass I’m already doing 7 over to appease your sad ass
Hand tattoo healing advice?
So my service doesn’t have a policy on tattoos aside from no hate symbols or anything way too far out there. I’m wanting to get a tattoo on the back of my hand covered, I’m just worried about healing it and handling patients with a giant open wound on the back of my hand. I know I wear gloves but even so, do yall think it would be fine?
