Not on my bingo card but Cambeezy is Army??! That’s so cool! Post your unlikely Army in the comments below!

I love Camryn Bynum! He plays safety for the Indianapolis Colts. He’s one of those that I recently discovered that’s a BTS fan. Here he is so hyped in a dance battle with Hobi! There are so many new fans or those that just openly admit to listening to BTS. My coworker just found out that her husband stans BTS almost as long as she has been for about 8 years! I think it’s cool that the demographic of Army is changing and growing in ways only Army can understand.

Now that BTS is stateside, Mexico ARMY, thank you for showing BTS a level of love and welcome that felt truly historic.

Seeing them stand beside President Claudia Sheinbaum at the National Palace while tens of thousands of ARMY gathered below in the Zócalo was surreal and deeply moving. What could have been just another tour stop became a cultural moment that people will remember for a very long time.

But beyond the celebration, thank you for also helping keep them as safe as possible throughout their stay. Despite the massive crowds and excitement, there was so much visible care, respect, and protectiveness from ARMY every step of the way. You could feel that people genuinely wanted the members to feel comfortable, welcomed, and protected while they were in your country.

The sea of purple across Mexico City, the cheers outside the palace, and the thousands of ARMY gathered both inside and outside the stadiums for three nights created an atmosphere that felt unforgettable even to us watching online. Even outside the venues, people came together just to sing, celebrate, and be part of the moment. The overwhelming support showed the world the strength and heart of Mexican ARMY.

Few artists are welcomed like this, and few fandoms can turn an entire city into a celebration while still looking after the people they love. You gave BTS something truly special. They will surely remember these moments. Muchas Gracias Mexico 💚🤍❤️💜

Cowboy V and Cowboy JK

The Arirang tour unlocked something amazing in the BTS members. While Tampa and El Paso were incredibly memorable, Mexico felt next level special somehow.

Watching V and Jungkook galloping across the stage in Mexico like cowboys riding wild horses, laughing like little kids without a single worry in the world, felt oddly healing to watch. After years of pressure, expectations, scrutiny, nonstop schedules, and carrying the weight of global fame, seeing them this free feels emotional somehow.

Not idol perfect. Not performative joy. Just real happiness. Wild, playful, youthful happiness. The kind you cannot make up. The kind that comes from feeling fully alive in the moment.

Honestly, I hope everyone gets to experience this kind of happiness at least once in their lives. To laugh loudly, run wildly, feel the wind on your face, and forget the weight of the world for a little while.

V and Jungkook riding through that stage in Mexico with pure happiness written all over their faces might honestly be one of my favorite BTS moments in a very long time.

When Bang said you can just stand there and still make an impact, I think this is what he meant. 😍

Tae’s speech is super sweet. Mexico and BTS will never forget this stop.

🐯: Mexico! I learned a little Spanish. I want to tell you in Spanish that I'm here right now. First of all, I miss Ami (Army) from Mexico so much. I love Ami from Mexico so much. So it's because you love me a lot too. You are the reason for my life, you are my everything, I love you. A lot of spice. No cilantro please. By the way, today is Mother’s Day. : Have you greeted them yet? Call now. Video call. Mama Maria. Mama Teresa. Mama Lupe. Mama Coco. Thank you for raising us. Happy Mother’s Day, moms. We love you. I love you!

Tonight Tae got the cotton candy! 😆 He also sent staff to pay for the banderilla yesterday but they told him it was free for Tae. 💜

Watch this now. Mariachi band playing Swim and Army singing in Spanish. BTS is global. It’s universal. This is amazing. I’m crying.

BTS Broke the Formula

I honestly think people misunderstand or do not know BTS enough when they call them a “manufactured KPop boy band,” especially if you go back and listen to songs like “NO.”

A manufactured group usually plays it safe. BTS debuted questioning pressure, expectations, and systems forcing young people into molds. “Everybody say NO” was literally the message. That is a strange debut concept for a group supposedly built just to follow an industry formula.

From the beginning, they felt more like artists figuring themselves out in public than performers carefully designed to never step out of line.

RM, Suga, and J-Hope were already writing music before BTS became huge. Suga came from underground hip hop. RM was writing about identity, insecurity, and societal pressure long before global fame. Their music has always explored ambition, burnout, self reflection, and criticism of the systems around them. Manufactured acts usually avoid discomfort. BTS leaned into it.

It is because of their blended individuality that I became a fan. RM’s artistry feels completely different from Jin’s or V’s. Agust D and Jungkook do not even occupy the same musical space. Jimin and J-Hope each have their own sound, style, and stage presence. Their solo careers made it clear that BTS was never built around seven interchangeable members. It was always seven distinct artists evolving together.

KPop was their launchpad, but they constantly pushed beyond the limits people expected from them. They were often considered too hip hop, too emotional, too experimental, or eventually too global to fit neatly into one category. That is probably why they connected with so many people.

Looking back now, “NO” feels almost symbolic of their entire career. The song rejected the idea of surrendering your identity to systems and expectations, and BTS ended up doing exactly that as artists. They kept evolving instead of becoming what others wanted them to be.

That is the complete opposite of manufactured. It is messy, personal, evolving, and deeply human. BTS was never built as seven identical idols repeating the same formula. They became global because seven completely different artists learned how to grow together without losing themselves in the process.

And because of this, NO is my DJ spin of choice in Vegas!

Pao Valencia, a Mexican influencer, found Mrs. Cresia and her daughter and will be taking them to the concert on Saturday. THIS is what we need the internet for. Listen to her tearful voice message. 💜

“Dream, you will fully bloom, after all the hardships.” — Snooze, Agust D

It’s hard to believe this is the same Suga, Min Yoongi, Agust D that Korean media relentlessly tore apart less than two years ago over his incident involving his electric scooter outside his home. What should have been treated as a legal matter became a public spectacle. The headlines felt endless. Cameras waited for him everywhere. Even after he apologized, accepted responsibility, paid the fines, and kept quiet, it still felt like people wanted to see him broken.

And now here he is in Mexico. Standing peacefully beside Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum with his brothers while more than 50,000 fans gathered below the balcony just to see BTS for five minutes. Streets overflowing with people. Fans screaming their names with so much love that you can almost feel it through the photos. There’s something deeply satisfying about seeing that after everything.

Because the truth is, many people tried to reduce him to one moment. One headline.
But they underestimated who Min Yoongi really is. Instead of fighting publicly or turning bitter, he disappeared quietly, reflected, fulfilled his service, healed, and came back looking lighter somehow. Calmer. Softer. More at peace with himself. Agust D, the artist who built an entire body of work around pain, reflection, ambition, and survival, came back calmer, sharper, and somehow even more respected globally than before.

And maybe that’s why these photos hit so hard for me. He doesn’t look like someone carrying anger anymore. He looks like someone who survived it. That may be the sweetest revenge of all.

Not humiliation returned. Not rage. Not public vindication. Just peace. Just growth. Just living well enough that the narrative collapses on its own.

Seeing Suga smile from that balcony feels like watching karma correct itself in real time.

This video is either made by Bighit or the Presidential staff. It shows a very nice POV of their visit. I’m crying so proud of them. I just wanna go back to 2013 RM and others so I can give them a hug and assure them that everything will be amazing.

Edit: This is from the Office of the Mexican President TT
