Hi all, looking for a gaming mini pc to throw in my bag and take on the road with me. What is the current state of mini pcs for gaming? Hoping for something not too expensive but not too cheap and useless.

Currently I'm looking at the Beelink SER9 Pro AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 which is available for $1170 with RAM (soldered, unfortunately, but whatever) and SSD included.

Is there anything better at the same or similar pricepoint or is this just what I go with if this is roughly my budget?

I need to find a new place to move to. Specific location in the country doesn't really matter much, but the following things are of importance:

1. Selection of decent homes in the $200-300k range, give or take.
2. Not somewhere politically deep red.
3. Relatively less impacted by climate change (heat, fires, etc.)
4. Decent friendly sociable culture.
5. Must have an airport.

Any ideas?

Is there any word on whether or not some sort of Oculink adapter will be available for the 13 pro?

I have an old laptop that I really don't really trust the battery on, but everything else is good. I don't really have much use for it anymore as a laptop, but would love to turn this into a "minipc" desktop (not so tiny, given the size of the board, but certainly smaller/lighter than the full laptop with screen, battery, etc.). I guess the r/cyberdeck term here would be headless?

Anyone have any recommended guides or videos on doing a conversion mod of sorts like this?

I recently installed KOReader and a UI plugin on my Kindle and realized that Calibre has put all my books onto my Kindle into individual folders, which show up as individual folders in the KOReader UI. Is there any way to get Calibre to reorganize my book files into a single folder rather than individual folders?

Multiple emails to support have been ignored with no response. Company is a s(c)am. This is a warning to everyone else not to sign up for this crap ass website.

Amusingly "you may not use the word 's(c)am'" when I try to submit. If that doesn't tell you what this company is, I don't know what will.

I'm trying to watch the FS1 channel live for the World Cup and it just keeps saying "This video is unavailable" and won't let me watch. Does anyone know why? Currently it's the middle of the South Korea / Czech match.
