Looking for peeps to play peak with or maybe another fun game like it. Up for suggestions. I've never actually played peak before as my only gaming friend is too busy and it's not their type of game. Their a big counter strike person but I'm too old for it 🤣

So yeah posting here as I last resort 😅 I do have discord and my DM's are open here.

I work 12hr shifts that change between day and night so I'm all over the place but do get a couple of days to myself usually every week.

I should be free for the next couple of days after today so yeah shoot me a DM is you are game and are patient enough for me to learn the game 😅 DMs open for anyone from any time zone due to my current working pattern.

I usually just play Elite Dangerous but it gets a little lonely out there in space 😅

May have found the fault

Well since my last post: https://www.reddit.com/r/IS300/comments/1tccut9/strange_electrical_fault/

The 120A fuse labeled ALT120A looked discolored to me, after breaking it off since I can't remove the fusebox the car is behaving the exact same way so hopefully I'm onto something.

Watched a couple of videos about removing the fuse box (USA box is slightly different and on the opposite side) I still can't get the thing to come out of it's casing :/

~Strange electrical fault

Posting on behalf of my Mother who has a 2002 IS300 Sportcross (UK car). To cut a long story short her "friend" suggested his friend owned a paint spraying business and would respray it cheaper than anyone else would. Turns out my Mother paid him £3000 over time, some upfront and then more as he ran out of paint and his air compressor broke. Just an excuse to extract more money and turns out his idea of a business was setting up a Facebook page and nothing else.

Fast forward till now and she is £3000 down, a shit paint job and a couple of welding jobs that never even got touched and a very strange electrical fault. He closed the "business" and dumped the car outside.

The car will still start and engage gear but has the following faults:

  • No cluster lights at all apart from the security light, only the indicator lights flash when the hazard lights are turned on (cluster lights included)
  • Headlights and main beam work (although no lights in the cluster)
  • No power to the OBD port (fuse is good and there is 12V getting to the fuse holder for the OBD)
  • No electric windows or mirrors, no power to stereo or sat nav system
  • Electric seats still move

Luckily a nice guy from an actual garage collected the car and I am getting it brought to my home tomorrow but I have no idea what the electrical fault could be.

Just posting to see if anyone has come across anything similar. Cheers
