The FCC is always the answer

Two years in a row I tried to take advantage of "loyalty customer" offers sent to me by Verizon Fios, for a Verizon Wireless "Free phone". Both years the original offer wasn't what they claimed it be and I spent 4 mos the first time getting my money and reurn8ng their equipment and this year, I just so happened to screenshot the deal, si it only took 2 months to get offered a refund. But only with a FCC complaint.

NOTHING ELSE WORKS.

Discharged Therapy by 4th Therapist in 3 years, ready to give it up

I've been in and out of therapy since 17 (now 58), after I was brutally violently attacked. I'd been needing it for yrs, but my parents didn't believe in it & only agree due to pressure from prosecutors, etc.

I had 1 great therapist for a year and then didn't go back until my late twenties and had this doctor (who did therapy and meds) for 20+ years. It's a long story, I've come to learn he may have been a "doctor feelgood" type doc, but anyway..........

I moved and had one great therapist for two years. However she felt my family was abusive to me, I was 51 at the time, but had mobility issues. They moved in to help, but didn't contribute to the household, (infact I was paying them a small state stipend of $600 a month, they didn't contribute to rent, and still charged me for rides to the doctor. (the short version) This therapist said she would no longer see me if I continued in that arrangement. I choose them. Turns out my mother was in the early stages of dementia and this cruelty was that. Anywayemergency, and the ER isn't going to do anything but accuse of me of drug seeking or put me on the psych floor and try to replace my anxiety meds with chemical restraint meds like Seroquel, that make you look dull on the outside but have you screaming inside. So why would you tell me to call you when I'm suffering, when all you were going to do were to offer me options that were unhelpful to dangerous, in my opinion Yes, I told him I thought he had a fetish for getting cussed out, because he knows 4 days into withdrawal the ER isn't going to help me and I cared nothing about my safetly.

Then the next therapist did the same intake stuff, with test for everything borderline, etc

He knew I was estranged from all of my family (a whooping 3 people, one with dementia a drug addict who was abusing and the court took guardianship away from this sister, a niece who was her former guardian that can't account for 35k of my mother's money and a new aide that I bump heads with because he doesn't do as we agree, but since I already been abused by other aides that stole, etc, I put up with because he does have a source of income that makes the chances of him stealing my car or assaulting me very unlikely.

I saw this man 3 times. The third time he showed me a video about accountability. I watched 15 minutes of it and asked for context. He said, if you don't get along with your mother, sister or niece the problem must be you. WHAT??? Because I had to expose these people in court and they don't like me I'm the problem? I asked to please articulate what he meant in an example. He just kept repeating if I can't get along with anyone, I must be the issue.

The therapist before him had sessions with us both and she determined he wasn't worth working with due to his arrogance. She saw him 3 times. This guy even refers to himself as a begnign narcissist. This man never spoke to him. This guy knows I feel some things the guy does are disrespectful and that makes me the problem?

I am I going crazy here? Aren't doctors suppose to be able to understand dependence. And the bottle turned up in the hospital chapel and I texted him to show him when I did get the medicine back from out of state the two bottles.

I didn't use curse words but I was very much in pain, my usually mobility and now withdrawals. I wasn't demanding a prescripton, but I did want to know why he would tell me to call him

If you stuck around roast me. I wasn't suicidal, nor am I now, but I'm lost

Difficult case discharged from 3rd therapist in 3 yrs. Should I give up?

Anyway

the next 4 therapist

  1. After all the intake questions, started talking to me about my chakras. I tried to go along with it, but I sropped and asked her what psycholgoical technique included chakras? She didn't explain and just told me she could use psychological verbiage instead. I didn't understand or trust that

  2. Was a very good therapist & I saw her 3 years. I deal with agoraphobia, panic attacks. and unrelenting anxiety, on top of chronic pain which I can't get any real meds for since I take anxiety meds. She was very project centered, as in not a lot of talking about past trauma still haunting me or even getting bogged down in the mental crisis of the day. More action plans journaling, make lissts, trying outpatient day programs. She'd push me to go to different programs and I would sign up and attempt to go for the 1st two years, but didn't make it. I finally did a day program 3 days, before I got intimidated by another patient there. I skipped a day and went back and stuck it out 2 more days, but I didn't finish the 2 weeks.

II thought she was going to be mad, instead she told me she was so happy I went. She wasn't expecting me to even try and we could build on this. I was relieved and felt kind of proud.

The very next week, I had an argument with my room mate and I can't afford to live here alone, so I told her I was considering moving to California, an area I was previously stationed in many years ago. I mentioned that I had made an online woman friend, that I was not moving in with, but I felt at least I would know someone in the area. She started going off on me about me "not being serious" about therapy and that she didn't think she could help me. At that point I was devastated, but coool . But the switch up was maddening, last week I failed a program= Good job. This week I'm in an economic crisis and moving to California to a place I've lived before make you think I'm crazy. I've lived where I live for the past twenty years and before that I was a NJ resident most of my life. I didn't argue with her, but told her I understood if she felt that way, just wish she had expressed it sooner. Turns out her husband died and the doctor at the practice suggested I give her another chance and how much she cared about me. So I did (not knowing her husband died). She burst out into tears in the middle of the session & I asked if it was her husband she said yes. I suggested she take time off seeing me. No she said.

Then I lost my medicine in an incident in New York City, where my Mother is. medicine stolen. That's not the first time that's happened, and usually I just go into withdrawals and wait for the next subscription let the doctor and therapist now what happened after the fact. The doctor told me, oh that was so dangerous, don't ever go through that again, why didn't I tell him.

I explained after being on this med for 20 years I know it can't be represcribed without problems so I just suffered, I know doctors are going to tell me to go to the ER if withdrawals get bad & that never leads to anything good.

Fast forward, ayear later, running back and forth trying to see my mother, the medication was lost, I called the doctor after 3 days of searching and withdrawing. He tells me to make a police report and go to the ER. Sonia Massey comes to mind as to why a Black woman would not feel safe calling a police officer to my home for a mental health emergency, and the ER isn't going to do anything but accuse of me of drug seeking or put me on the psych floor and try to replace my anxiety meds with chemical restraint meds like Seroquel, that make you look dull on the outside but have you screaming inside.
