Bohol Provincial Library

It's been years pero until now wala pagihapon progress atong Provincial Library. Under construction lang gihapon ang main library area.

It honestly doesn't feel like a provincial library murag gamay nga public school library ang state

Book Selection is so small and super outdated. College kids are holding hands and using the library as a dating place

You can't borrow books unless naa kay kaila/paryente nga ga work sa government.

You can only borrow books if you get a certificate from your Barangay

You can't get inside the children's book section/area if you're an adult. I wanted to browse books for my pamangkins unta

You have to pay to use ancient computers

Open

Monday to Friday 8AM - 5PM,

Saturdays 8AM - 11AM

Located at the Old Capitol beside the Museum

You can donate books here. Make sure they aren't damp and have molds.

Is this normal? RCBC: My Family Shield Plus Insurance

Is this normal?

July 31, 2026

I am charged 6,240 as an upfront payment + 520 per month

I wasn't made aware that I have to pay an upfront payment worth 6k+. Yung 520 per month lang yung dinisclose saakin

Akala ko 520 lang babayarin per month. They did not send me any emails or contracts of agreement so I could not cross check if this is part of the agreement.

If I've known na ganito pala, I would have not said yes to this insurance

Erling Haaland's advice to single people: get off your phone, go outside, and stop hunting for a girlfriend

"I was single for quite a well myself. If I have any advice? It's to get out and socialize. Meet people and get to know people. From my experience, you find your girlfriend when you least expect it. If you're always looking for a girlfriend, you'll never find one."

- Erling Haaland

I find this true, because that's how I met my wife

I’m a housewife and never had any proper job after graduating college [astro.com]

I graduated in Fine Arts. And I immediately got married after graduating, I never had a proper formal job because my husband doesn’t want me to work in the country I’m born in. He will only allow me to work once we migrate to America due to the expensive living cost there

I did take both traditional and digital art commissions before, and that’s how I met my husband. I did teach art one time for a summer class to a kid, but I ended up making them lose interest in the said topic. I lost my passion with arts after A.I boomed and become really rusty after not practicing the craft for years

I want to find a job but based on my chart I should be good in communications but I don’t think I am. I struggle with communicating what I want to say, especially English is not my first language.

How do you tell your landlord that you're moving out?

My only means of contact with our landlord is through messenger and text

She made me sign a written contract before moving in, but did not give me a copy. I'm trying to ask her to give me a copy now.

Based on what I remember, it was just a simple contract. It asked for my information and how long I'd stay. I clearly remember telling her that I don't have a clear idea of when I'll move out. It didn't have a do's and don't's

We had a verbal agreement that I would possibly rent for 2years. But I'd be breaking that agreement due to multiple reasons

- I need to relocate to a different part of the Philippines, so I can be closer to a certain embassy

- Landlord keeps asking for monthly advance payment

- When I raised some of my concerns with the unit, she would just inspect and do nothing about it.

for e.g water leaking through the walls every time there's heavy rain blowing on the said side of the walls causing molds. (she did not disclose this part on us when we moved in. She clearly knew about it, because of how she lamented on receiving a backhanded comment from her relatives who used to live in this unit)

Another one, I wanted to have hot water installed and she even made me pay worth 2 months advance payment just to work on it but it's been a year and 1 month still no hot shower.

My monthly rent is ₱25,000

Today she just texted me asking for another advanced payment, stating that she badly needs the money

My planned moving date is in the first week of October, which would make my tenancy 1year and 3 months
