How much time do you take off from J1 when you start J2? Is a week enough time?

I'm just trying to figure out how much time I'll need to get set up with Jay too in terms of introductory meetings, getting familiarized with everything etc. I was thinking of taking one week off of J1, but do you think that would be enough time? I'm not sure if I'll be able to take two full weeks off of J1

My periods have become irregular and I am getting new symptoms

In the past when I've had my period I would get a little tired but nothing major. Now when I get my period which could be anywhere from every month to 3 months, I suffer from extreme fatigue. It's so hard to function with my day. I just want to sleep. I'm also noticing that my blood pressure drops enough to cause me a little light-headedness. Again, I only experienced this when I get my period and my periods are not heavy at all so I don't think it's from iron loss either. Has anyone else experienced this before? I'm going for my annual blood work later this month. I just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced such fatigue at this point in their lives

I have a loop interview coming up in a week for an administrative position and I am not looking forward to it

Five hours of interviewing is just mind-blowing to me. And the funny part is I don't know if I even want to work there, but considering I'm not having much luck in my job hunt, I feel I can't ignore this opportunity. At this point I just want to get through the interview and not sound like a total bumbling idiot

What is your theory on From? Where do you think they are currently located and why can't they leave? Spoilers.... Just in case

Are they in some sort of purgatory? I love to hear your thoughts on it.

Has anyone worked at Amazon in the AWSI ProServe delivery department?

I am actively interviewing for a EA position in this org and I'm just wondering what it's really like there. I keep reading mixed reviews so I'm just curious if anyone has additional input. A lot of what I'm reading is that it's very chaotic and toxic. I guess I'm just wondering how bad it really is...

On one hand, I think it would be nice to work at a FAANG company but I am genuinely concerned that my mental health will suffer and that I'm going to be so overwhelmed and unhappy.

If anyone currently works there, I'd love to hear from you and feel free to message me privately if that's easier.

How do you deal with overlapping employment dates in addition to public announcements of your employment?

This is a new landscape for me so I'm not quite sure how to navigate this without getting caught.

I may be starting a new remote job and this particular company makes announcements both on their website and on LinkedIn. They also like to have employee photos and a link to the employee's LinkedIn account on their website. That stays up permanently.

I will hold on to my current job because that is also remote.

  1. I can hibernate my LinkedIn account but when the new company asks me for the link what do say? I can't provide it because it has dates of my current employer that I will still be working at for at least the time being.
  2. If I decide to get a new job in a few years from now, how do I navigate the end date of my first job if it run simultaneously with this newer job I discussed above? My fear is when a company runs a background check, they're going to see that both jobs were worked simultaneously. I'm afraid that's going to cause issues down the road especially if I have to lie about the start/ end dates
