What other ovals would you like to see the MX-5’s on?

I personally would think Charlotte is a good fit. IMSA has raced there as recently as 2020, with the GT’s in support of the Nascar weekend.

I was thinking for it to be a joint weekend along with Nascar in 2027, as it seems like the oval will still be used then. What do you think?

For anyone who is currently at Le Mans, is there an update on Giacomo Rinaldo following this incident in the Ferrari Challenge?

For those watching and wondering where to look, watch towards the top end of the screen at the start of the clip: You’ll see Giacomo’s car leave the track to the right at viciously high speed.

This crash was HUGE. Didn’t see the aftermath, but maybe could’ve rolled, got air, or something. I don’t know. It took about an hour and a half to repair the barriers. But I’ve been thinking about Giacomo all day since then. I’m hoping we have good news on him.

2026 has been off to a chaotic start 😬

In 5 rounds across all classes, we have seen 5 red flags. The only round that did not have a race be red flagged so far, is Jerez.

So far, the rounds that have been red flagged include:

  1. Buriram Moto2 (2)

  2. Goîania Moto3 (1)

  3. COTA Moto2 (1)

  4. Le Mans Moto2 (1)

I can’t remember if we’ve seen this many red flags this early in the season in the MotoGP era. Hoping this weekend is a safe one.
