Would you all put stopping, or at least delaying, the effects of climate change as a priority seen the fact that it's an existential threat?

I know that a lot of accelerationists seem to think that it will speed up the process leading to a revolution etc. Etc. However seeing the current state of the proletariat I'm starting to think that 95% of people wouldn't even dare of putting a finger on the bourgeoisie even if they're dying in an unfathomably hot wasteland. The worst part is that everyone is already kinda aware of the fact that big capital is behind climate change too

I'm not very good at posting and I've began to post more, even if not a lot, when I noticed that the quality of the jokes was degrading because for some reason I find being deliberately unfunny to be funny. I didn't think it'd be that bad to be kinda cringey and unfunny at times also because I've been away from Reddit a lot and didn't keep up with the situation FORGIVE ME 😭😭

However after a quick scroll it's clear that ts is almost unusable now. The only funny things you can easily find are either the comments calling out the record tonnage of coal produced, or in the top posts of all times tab. Sorry for coal posting I didn't think it'd be that bad!!!

For the rest Ig that this is just the natural development of internet communities. Either we make a new one that's way more exclusive or we make an effort to do better at excluding coal posters because I legit expected to be banned for the coal posts and I wasn't??? What's up with moderation recently?

Hello, I have already signed myself into the reserved accomodation programme and I am also looking at other possible choices in case that doesn't work. It's grim.

Everyone I've asked help to talks about housing in the Netherlands with the same trauma of a veteran talking about cleaning their friend's intestines off themselves.

As a last resort I'm microdosing on terror about housing to not have too much of a shock when it turns out to be worse than it seems, how scared should I make myself?

If it helps anyone, the average income where I live is like 1/3 the average dutch income
