What to do with a bad painting

When you paint something you don't like, what do you do with it?

I decided to cut one of mine up and laminate it to become bookmarks! In small pieces, it seems to work better.

Glossy coating?

I really like the way my watercolors look when they're wet. But of course they dry and look different- sometimes better sometimes not. It got me thinking- has anyone used a glossy coating on a watercolor painting? Would they look awful?

Stormlight Archive question

I found myself trudging on through Rhythm of War and I can't stand the slow pace here. Is this worth it in the end? I really enjoyed and breezed through The Way of Kings & words of Radiance but then it just..kept..going.. and going...

There are questions that have not been answered but continuously referred to since book one. What do I do?

Process idea

Currently I'm working with this process for painting:
First I draw out my sketch in pencil. Then I ink what I like and erase the pencil marks. I keep the paper dry and add paint and water only in pieces at a time. I work in no consecutive spaces and let the paper dry out for stretches in between colors.

Trying some colors

What do you think of using purple for shadowy cliffs even though the actual color is dark brown/gray?

2 weeks notice?

UPDATE: Thanks for all of the great feedback. I will encourage her to give two weeks. She's been unhappy and they haven't been good employers but she should still do the right thing. I was surprised the new job offered her a job on Friday and wanted her to start a week from Monday.

My daughter got an offer for an entry level job. She wants to quit her job in a supermarket. My wife says she has to give two weeks notice. I don't think this is the case. Who's right?

[####] common words?

Wordle's own description says that it will be a common word. What exactly does that mean? There have been plenty that were not in any sense "common". In fact I've guessed real words the the wordle bot says weren't even an option.

Princeton farm field

I did this on Canson Mixed Media paper...so the fact that it worked out is a win in my book 😂
