So, this morning I got multiple phishing emails in quick succession saying that my password, birthdate and security questions have all been changed for a VERY OLD and unused AppleID that I completely forgot about. I was able to go in and change my password (didn’t click the links. Went on the actual website myself and changed it), but when I tried to log in, none of the answers I typed in to my security questions worked. Not much of a red flag since I was a kid when I made this ID and might’ve put some stupid answer that made sense then, but doesn’t now.

Is my only option actually calling Apple to get this situation handled and get my old AppleID deleted? I only ask because I have severe phone anxiety and would like to avoid it if at all possible lol

So, I have a mass on my butt cheek that I’m due to get removed this Monday but the complex I’m going to is Catholic owned and operated. Didn’t realize this or even THINK of this when I went there initially and got the appointment scheduled EVEN THOUGH it’s named after a gd SAINT… hindsight and whatever.

Anyway, to make matters worse is that even though the removal is in a ~sensitive~ area, I didn’t even think to disclose that I’m trans and the gullyworks down there won’t look as they expect. I’m going to go to the appointment and ask how much is going to be exposed (again it’s on my butt cheek and I’m a big guy so maybe they won’t even see anything?) and proceed from there. Being trans isn’t even in my medical files, so it’s not like it’s openly disclosed there.

Thankfully I do live in a state with better protections for trans individuals, but all things considered my anxiety has spiked over it. :(

Off-topic on-topic though…. Surely someone can come up with a joke about getting a mass removal at a CATHOLIC hospital.

So, I brought this up as a comment on a different post but how bad is the closed captioning for other 2ndTry subscribers?

I’ve noticed synching issues, misspellings, words being replaced and incorrect names being used (I.E. someone addressing Ryann and CCs reading Ryan)

I’m thankful that I only have a processing disorder, having them certainly helps me understand what’s being said, but I can only begin to imagine the immense frustration those who absolutely need CC must feel just trying to enjoy what’s available on 2ndTry.
