For a moment in the 00s-2010s marvel was really pushing them as recurring members, Bendis really glazed Cage in particular
honestly It felt more like the heroes for hire than an avengers title
Tying a character to the Shi'ar was never going to make them more popular lol
they straight up said most of the run was a dream
