Questions about the MA emergency ban
Will the emergency ban in Massachusetts make kratom possession for personal use a crime?
I find it frightening and unthinkable that a state as progressive as MA would lock someone up for possession.

I have a 2016 F350 with 126k miles. Even since I've owned it, it shifts kinda funny from 5>6 gear. And sometimes it makes an audible clunk sound. Not really a hard shift but like a slight delay, like it takes a second to complete the shift.
Mechanic checked all U-joints and said they're fine. He said \*it's possible\* it could be the valve body. But it's not displaying any error codes. So he's not convinced.
I've dealt with this mechanic once before and he seems like an honest guy. Spent an hour looking it over on the lift and everything and didn't charge me.
Does it make sense to move forward with a replacement, or am i jumping the gun? Should i wait to see if it gets more severe/frequent? Or starts throwing an error code? Or is that risking further damage?
Should i have him drop the pan and investigate further? (Could probably use a flush anyways)
All these questions and more will be playing through my head from now until my appointment with him next week. Any insight would be much appreciated.

I've been working in the greater DC area for close to a year now and have been wanting to take the metro into the city to check out the Capital. Wife's outta town. Beautiful Saturday. What better time?

So i get on the train. I start wondering if kratom is sold in the city. So i google it and find that not only is it not sold, it's a schedule I narcotic!! I could be arrested for possession. And I've got my evening dose with me!!!

I immediately got off the train and took the next outbound train. I hadn't crossed into DC so i hadn't broken any laws. It seems so inane to me that crossing that line would have turned me into a criminal.
So this one is pretty obvious but i wanted to post it here anyways to get an outside perspective. On my truck window this morning in a wooded area in northern Virginia, just outside the metro DC area. It's probably about 5 or 5.5 inches across. Wider than my fist by about an inch
BIL had this in his basement and we were wondering if anyone had any more info on it. Google says they were produced between 1918-1920.
I think all the parts are there but there are what looks like two large rings, (cast aluminum?) shattered to pieces.
I've never seen one of these up close but I'm suddenly extremely interested in it so any info would be much appreciated.
I can get more pics of anyone's interested
