Do you rebalance the tonearm in record stores?
A lot of record stores have spare turntables off to the side where you can preview LPs through headphones.
I level rebalance the tonearm every time, as a community service.

Apparantly they (Grand Jury) didn't think there was enough evidence that the dude who tried to get guns and ammunition into Jazz Fest was actually going to do something bad.
So it seems like it's time for some new laws. We need to make trying to get guns into places where guns are not allowed a serious crime. And that severity needs to be greatly increased if that place is a mass gathering.
This is insane. I know the bar for guilt is high, and it should be, but it boggles my mind that we let this asshole Christopher Gillum go free to try and do this again.
Make sure everyone knows his name, and what his intent was.
Unbelievable. I hope the feds monitor the shit outta this asshole.

I know - it's a much smaller and briefer affair but where's the best place to get info on shows going on during Funk Fest?
I also know this is probably not at all the best place for this, but it seems quasi-related...
Please - if you're going to comment without reading this whole post (yeah it's long), at least read the bolded part below.
I recently had a phishing attempt that almost succeeded because the caller knew with specificity about recent transactions I had made with my USAA Debit Card (Visa).
One morning, I had to go to a Walmart for something. Swiped my USAA Debit at the terminal, went home. Then I received a call from "USAA" (not really though). They claimed to be from the fraud department, calling to confirm some recent charges (which has legitimately happened before).
They proceed to read me the last few charges I made, which were all legit. The last one was the Walmart charge I had made just 30 minutes previously.
Between swiping my card and getting the phone call, I did not log in to the USAA site. I did not open the mobile app. They could not have gotten this info from one of my other devices, because I did not use any devices, did not use the internet at all. I was in my car, then I was home. Then they called.
And they knew about the Walmart charge - plus several others.
All the charges they asked about were mine. They had the exact places, and the exact amounts.
For the Walmart charge, at least, the only people who would know the speicifics at this point were Walmart, Visa, USAA, and me.
And yet... this caller had that info.
So I approved all these charges, they were all me. Then he says, "okay now we've got some wire transfers" and I've NEVER done a wire transfer in my life.
And these are for thousands of dollars. Over 10K total, multiple transfers.
Now I'm freaking out!
And then they start having me do stuff to "secure my account", which eventually leads to them needing me to text my password with the word CANCEL.
At this point, I realize it's a scam and dip out.
No funds were ever actually moved. I dodged a bullet.
But they knew stuff they shouldn't have known.
The only way I can think of that they would have the specific places and amounts for charges I'd made is if someone inside USAA or Visa provided this info.
Again: I did not open the mobile app, did not log in to the website, and did not even use my phone for anything aside from answering this call from "USAA". This can't be a case where some other device was hacked and they gleaned that info from that device. I use a very strong (random) password at USAA, and 2FA.
What the actual hell happened here?
Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Nothing happened, but it's really bothering me for what I hope are obvious reasons.
I missed the recent bit about Ronnie and his moving bed that they keep referencing.
Can someone fill me in on the specifics of what that was, exactly?
I just heard the episode where they were talking about cologne and how much Howie hates it.
Pearlman the Meathead chimes in about how there's a really premium high quality cologne he uses and he thinks Howie would like it.
What cologne was it, you ask?
Pearlman says... "It's called Creed".
Now... "Creed" isn't a cologne. It's a Cologne HOUSE. They make like 40 different scents, each with an actual name ("Virgin Island Water" and "Bois du Portugal" for instance).
So this dumbass doesn't even realize that there isn't a cologne called "Creed". That's the BRAND.
It's like saying "I got a great new auto! It's the best ever! It's called 'Ford'"! Or "Man I really like this new cereal, it's called 'General Mills'".
o_O
Dumbass. Which Ford? Mustang? F-150? Pinto? Taurus? Bronco?
But wait, there's more!
This loaf-brain actually thought it was called "Creed" for... Apollo Creed.
Nevermind that Creed has been around longer than "Rocky" was a gleam in Sylvester's eye and it has nothing to do with fucking Apollo Creed.
Steroids have rotted this man's brain, if he ever had one.
Which one are y'all loving the most?
