The setup is over, I have to continue brushing it😆
This Rougui has broken free from the limitations of variety, with thick leaves and a blend of floral, pine, kernel, and osmanthus aromas. The tea soup is smooth and oily, with no hint of unpleasant bitterness. It embodies the ultimate combination of richness, lightness, and thinness.
Yancha's problem has always been the impossible triangle of fragrance, water and rhyme, and one of the solutions to this problem may be the soaking of the ancient well Rougui, a unique raw material, integrating the art of fermentation and baking.
From official sources! It's definitely not AI!
The variety of walnut in the picture is Guanmao! This is so classic!🤩

Such as the title, the main content of this post is about the product problems of some walnut merchants
First, B3B(Buddha3Bodhi) and Zen Walnut. Their walnuts often appear on top and are sanded with a spatula/angle grinder to remove the yellow tip. As a result, there is a serious mirror surface at the tip, and even a color difference in the oil.(Figure 1~4) Among them, Zen Walnut's carving is very rough, sometimes cutting a plane directly.
Secondly, for some high-priced varieties of walnuts, B3B will adopt micro- sculpture treatment (as shown in the red circle in Figure5). Their purpose is to remove the yellow silk from the walnuts that have come down the tr ee ahead of time.
Third, a merchant's web page display uses Al (or other) decoration. Its walnuts have lost their bottoms, but are still on display.(Figure 6)
Fourth, the community accounts of some brands often embezzle and reprint high-quality walnuts on some platforms in China as shared content. At the same time, they call themselves their own walnuts, please pay attention.(Figure 7)However, after a community friend found out, the content has been deleted. The original text was published in October 2025.
Collectively, they often use poor information to commit fraud. Earn high profits with fairly low-quality walnuts. If you encounter the same problem, you are welcome to contribute to me. I hope that with everyone's efforts, we can purify the international walnut market order, so that interested people can have their favorite pair of walnuts.
Title: A Brief Explanation of Three-Ridged Walnuts
In general, there are two types of three-ridged walnuts.
1. Naturally triquetrous varieties, such as Wen Shan
The first type includes varieties such as Wen Shan, which are naturally triquetrous.
The price of these walnuts is usually about the same as ordinary walnuts, and much lower than the high-quality grades of ordinary walnuts, such as:
2. Three ridges caused by natural mutation
The second type refers to walnuts that normally belong to two-ridged varieties, such as White Lion or Sizuolou, but naturally mutate into three ridges with an extremely small probability.
These walnuts are very expensive — much more expensive than ordinary walnuts.
The fundamental reason is rarity. The probability of such walnuts appearing each year is less than 0.01%, or even lower. With such a tiny base, finding two similar walnuts to form a pair becomes extremely difficult.
Therefore, the difference between these two categories is very significant.
You can clearly see the difference in Figure 1 and Figure 2:
There is a huge difference between them in terms of shape, fullness of lines, and cortex maturity.
Because of this, there are many fakes on the market.
The most common fake is made by splicing, using three walnuts to create one pair of Three-ridged “White Lion”, as shown in Figure 3.
Figure 4 shows three-ridged walnuts with three buds that have just sprouted.
In fact, growers and sellers usually know very clearly how many ridges a walnut has. So I do not recommend buying so-called “blind boxes” of green walnuts.
For those who truly understand the field, this information is basically transparent. What's inside the green walnuts is also transparent, and the excellent ones will not enter the market in the form of green walnuts.
At the beginning, the white frost was removed, and the luster of the surface was gradually improved, and it was close to orange🥳
This is the second pair of walnuts I've played with. A pair of white lions. It was purchased in Beijing Yayuan in 2021.
In fact, it was not a pair of so expensive walnuts at that time. The important thing is to take care of it. And PATIENCE!🤓
