When does it make sense to upgrade from phone based payment to a proper terminal?

Using my phone to take card payments right now  works fine for what I need. Starting to wonder at what point the volume or use case would make a dedicated terminal worth it.

Is there a transaction count or monthly volume where phone tap-to-pay stops making sense?

What’s the biggest Facebook Ads myth people still believe in 2026?

Feels like every year the “best practice” changes completely.

A few I still hear constantly: “Just duplicate the winning adset” “Broad targeting always wins” “High CTR = good ads” “Meta ads are fully hands-off now”

Curious what myths you think are still wasting people’s budgets.

Feeling completely overwhelmed buy all the trendy TikTok brand

Walking into Sephora lately makes me feel ancient. Everything is high-shine, high-glitter, and marketed by 19-years-old on TikTok. Where do grown women shop for classic, elegant makeup?

Moving from a 3rd floor walkup on Washington St to the burbs

My wife and I are finally leaving Hoboken for a house in Bergen Country. We have a ton of heavy furniture and a baby so I cannot deal with a messy move. Who is actually reliable and won't flake on us?

What features do you value most is an exchange?

I see many beginners asking which crypto exchange they should start trade btc. people usually look for low fees and comprehensive trading features, which matter for sure. but honestly, i think the most underrated thing is fast customer support. when the market go crazy and withdrawal gets stuck, you need agents from exchanges to help quickly before losing money. I searched around here for platforms with the best support, but didn't find much discussion. based on my experience, exchanges like kraken, bydfi, and bitget have fast support and nice reputation about their agents. What other features matter most to you when picking where to trade?

Has anyone stuck with an LED face mask long enough to see real results?

I’ve been looking into LED face masks lately and I’m curious how people feel about them after using one for a while. The one I was reading about has a few different light settings, so it’s not just for one skin concern. That part is what made me more interested.

My skin is kind of mixed. I get occasional breakouts, but I’m also starting to care more about dullness, texture, and early aging stuff. The idea of having different settings for calmer skin, firmness, or breakouts sounds useful, but I also know skincare devices can sound better on paper than they are in real life.

I’m not expecting some overnight change. I’m more wondering if this is the kind of thing where consistent use over a few months actually makes a visible difference, or if it ends up being one of those devices you use for two weeks and then forget about.

For people who have used LED masks regularly, did you notice real long-term changes, or was mostly temporary?

Monday through Friday I track everything, hit my numbers, feel good about it. Then Saturday happens and something just breaks. Not special occasions, not eating out, just sitting at home eating way past maintenance because the week's structure is gone.

I've tried prepping weekend meals exactly like weekdays. Tried allowing a planned higher calorie day. Tried not assigning moral weight to weekends. Mathematically if I just held at maintenance on weekends I'd still be losing from my weekday deficit. But I can't seem to stop before maintenance.

This has been bothering me for weeks, like how do you actually know a supplement is working and it’s not placebo??

most effects are subtle… mood, focus, sleep, energy. all things that change daily anyway.

i feel like i’m running a science experiment with zero control group 😅

do you guys track stuff? journal? just vibe and hope for the best??

How do you personally tell if something is worth continuing?

I’m working in an area with a lot of dust and I’m trying to understand how it affects hybrid inverter performance over time. My main concerns are dust buildup on cooling components, reduced airflow, and possible long-term reliability issues. I’m wondering if some inverter designs are better suited for dusty environments, how often maintenance should be done in these conditions, and whether the internal design like sealed versus ventilated systems makes a significant difference.

I've been seeing liposomal versions of supplements everywhere lately (vitamins, creatine, glutathione, etc.).

For what I understand, the idea is better absorption because the active ingredient is wrapped in a lipid layer but I’m still trying to figure out if that actually translates into noticeable real-world benefits.

Also wondering if quality matters more than branding here. Like with creatine, most experts say it comes down to:

•	Purity (ideally high-purity tested monohydrate if it’s creatine)
•	Third-party testing
•	Batch consistency over time

It would bej interesting to hear if anyone has tried liposomal versions long term and noticed a difference vs standard forms.

Running my own shipping setup for a small online store this spring has been mostly fine except for the labeling part that's eating up way too much time with mother's day orders rolling in. i need to create barcodes, qr codes and proper shipping labels from excel data on thermal rolls but nothing merges clearly. the free tools i tried either watermark everything or break on larger runs and the basic printer software can't keep up. i've looked at a few paid barcode generators around a couple hundred bucks but i'm cautious after past disappointments. anyone handling their own shipping actually found a barcode generator that makes the step straightforward?

What documentation do buyers expect when purchasing peptides now ?

I'm running a small peptide supply operation and trying to understand that what serious buyers are looking for in terms of documentation before they commit to an order. 2 years ago most buyers just wanted a COA attached to the product page. Now I'm getting more questions about which lab run the test, whether the lap ISO accredited, and whether the certificate is batch specific or a blanket document or they can contact the lab themselves. Some buyers are even asking for mass spec alongside HPLC. The bar has clearly moved and I want to make sure that what we're providing actually needs current expectations rather than what was acceptable 2 years ago. What documentation standard are experience buyers expecting from vendors ?
