Grenada Citizenship upsate: Intercontinental Grenada is now officially sold out. Here’s what is replacing

Here is a quick update for anyone who is interested in purchasing a Property in Grenada.

The Intercontinental Grenada project is now sold out. There is no more available shares. If you already secured a share by paying your deposit, your allocation should be protected.

The alternative now that is on the table is Six Senses lasagesse, with an immediate guaranteed return of USD 50k paid to the investor. That brings the effective net outlay to USD 220k, which is more or less the same structure that was offered on the Intercontinental deal.

Hope this helps

Vanuatu CBI for Bitcoiners

Has anyone applied for Vanuatu and paid in Bitcoin/crypto? This is seems to an emerging part of the CBI market and I’m curious about the market interest in being able to pay directly in Bitcoin/crypto for ALL fees - donation & advisory fees.

Please let me know your thoughts on this or your experience if you have done it.

How Caribbean Illegal Discounting Contributes to Visa Free Loss

Illegal discounting has nothing to do with the Caribbean losing visa free access, right?

Wrong.

To know why, you need to know how illegal discounting works.

Here’s how: The agent promises to the government to invest (usually by building real estate) using clients' money.

But, the agent doesn't finish it. Instead, the agent bribes key government officials to ignore that.

And there’s the key: The government officials can be bribed.

Which means they can also be bribed to skip due diligence.

Career criminal? Money launderer? Terrorist? Spy? Bribes mean they all slip through.

So no wonder other countries cut visa free access.

In any case, would you trust a country that can’t even collect all the money it’s supposed to?

UK Investor Visa (£5m, circa $6.6m) discussed in Government. My thoughts......

The UK Investor has recently been discussed in Parliament (end June 2026). I believe the fact that this conversation is even happening is a great thing - as someone who lives in London, the UK is crying out for more investment and talent. For years the UK has been struggling to compete with other markets and alongside the abolition of the Non-Dom regime, has seen an exodus of this market segment over the last 2 years (to countries such as Singapore, UAE, Monaco, Switzerland, Italy etc). There is no doubt an Investor Visa would bring the UK back onto the global radar of Wealth Managers and Family Offices as a plan B and lifestyle insurance hedge to present to their clients operating at the HNW/UHNW sector (if executed correctly..... keep reading for my honest thoughts on this below!).

A brief overview:

  • The £5m investment is not allowed to be in Real Estate or Real Estate related activities - again a good thing. Given the Housing Market in the UK, I do not believe UHNW's buying Prime Residential Real Estate in the UK would really benefit the economy. The investment must be in a UK business.
  • Fast track to settlement (ILR after 3 years) and Citizenship (after 5 years)
  • Invite-only (very little other info given on this)
  • Yet to be approved in Parliament

Onto my thoughts - the Price Tag is ginormous. It is clear that the UK Government is trying to price this alongside Singapore's Permanent Residence program. Here the UK is operating out of ego - at the present moment it is simply not as attractive as Singapore. In addition, those going for the Investor Visa do not get a Permanent Residency straight away (like Singapore's program) and would still have to wait 3 years for Settlement (ILR). Having worked with HNW/UHNW clients for over 7 years, at a minimum £5m liquid ticket size, a client would realistically be worth £50m in order to do this. This reduces the eligible global client based hugely.

Secondly, the program is said to be 'invite-only' - who decides these invitations? Will there be a Committee? How do they prevent foul play in this? In my opinion a program, to be truly fair and global should be open to everyone and not discriminate.

Is this the 'Trump Card' all over again? Will the price be set at £5m, the market see very little interest and then reduce to £1m with the tail between our legs? I see this as a very likely outcome.

Benefiting of the UK economy? The initial Tier 1 Investor Visa (priced from £2m) was primarily taken advantage of by the Russian clientbase. In the previous program, an investment into the FTSE100 or FTSE250 was all that was required. If the new iteration of the program would really benefit the UK all depends on the type of eligible investment as to whether this actually benefits the UK - investing £5m in the FTSE 100 is not going to benefit the UK economy. Investing £5m into the PE (especially SME market) and the VC market undoubtedly will. More thought and product positioning needs to go into this piece of the jigsaw.

As the world continues to become more and more global, the theme of attracting Entrepreneurs to come and set up businesses should be a clear priority for the UK Government in its present rebuild. Presently, the jury is out and I do not think there is enough information on whether this program will actually solve more problems or be seen as a PR disaster-class.

Golden visa via property purchase

Hi all, I’m hoping someone can help clear this up because I keep reading conflicting information online. Can I qualify for the golden visa if I buy a property that is worth 2.3m aed and put down a 50-60% deposit, or does it have to be 2M+ in equity? Also, is it different to Dubai

New Zealand Active Investor Plus Visa Program

Anyone currently in this program or interested in it? We are in the process of researching the investment options for their growth fund pathway and hoping to find more information from people who are going through it or like us, in the process of researching it. From the government statistics, there are about 730 applications with 608 of them in the growth pathway. Among them the majority of course are from United States. It is still very hard to find any chatters about this on the internet.

We are not looking to move immediately as we still have teenagers that are about to be in college soon. But looking for options for them in the future so they are not “stuck” to one country, one passport. Ideally Australia is where we want to be since we have families there, but they already shut down their investment visa program and it is not easy for the other options due to our age.

Going from USA to a EU country with Criminal record

1 am an American citizen and a couple of years ago I was arrested one time and charged with criminal trespassing, criminal mischief, burglary and attempted burglary so 6 felonies because two of those were charged twice. technically they were all non violent property crimes and they were all eventually dismissed no conviction no pleading guilty with a ACD with 21 hours of community service which I completed years ago. when I am pulled over by the police now they don't even see any record. that was the only time I was ever arrested or charged and I was an adult at the time.

would this make it extremely unlikely for me to be able to go on vacation to any EU country or to become a citizen of any EU country? what pathways to citizenship would be extremely unlikely or very likely to work?

Do i really surrender my indian passport?

I'm tryin' to pick up another countries citizen ship like Malaysia which has more benefits than Indian passport in terms of travelling. Does it really worth it to surrender? In India we have everything we can ask for and we have adapted to the Indian culture and passport. If we pick up another countries passport like i mentioned Malaysia, Or any more favourable countries citizen ships you recommend. Which are more favourable in a way invest and get PR's Kinda thing with that said similar to Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H), Sarawak(S-MM2H), Premium Visa Programme (PVIP) But side track these countries for now : Singapore, USA

Actual speed of aquiring citizenship from either Dominica or Vanuatu?

Im looking into getting a CBI from either Dominica or Vanuatu, but the time it'll take to get them is crucial to me. Officially, Vanuatu lists a 2-4 month period to recieve the citizenship, and Dominica lists a 3-6 month period. In practicality, how long do these two countries actually take? ive heard Vanuata particularly has slowed down recently and recieving the passports takes 7 months or so.

Caribbean CBI programs increase their fees.

Hello, quick update, several Caribbean citizenship programs have updated some of their fees and costs.

The latest update is including changes affecting areas such as government fees for dependents for St Kitts, interview-related fees for Doninica, and other program costs across some jurisdictions.

Was Anyone Else Told STP Citizenship Would Be Much Faster?

I am looking into the São Tomé and Príncipe citizenship program, and I am starting to get a bit concerned.

I was under the impression that the process was relatively straightforward, but recently I have been hearing that timelines are much longer than advertised. Some people seem to be saying that approvals are not taking 3–4 months and that applicants have been waiting 8 months or more.

Has anyone here gone through the process recently?

What’s Your Travel Experience with a Caribbean CBI Passport?

Hey everyone,

Is anyone here traveling on a Caribbean CBI passport (St. Kitts, Dominica, Antigua, Grenada, etc.) but born in an Asian country with a weaker passport?

I’m getting my Caribbean passport soon, and my place of birth is Pakistan.

Has your place of birth ever led to extra questions at immigration, or are you generally treated like any other Caribbean citizen?

I’d love to hear your real travel experiences before I start traveling with my new passport.

Thanks!

Vent

As I’ve started looking at CBI programs that I unfortunately, desperately need, I’ve realized that these “government approved” agencies are shady. I’ve spoke to multiple agencies and lawyers in the Middle East, Europe, and USA- each one of them quoted me a different price for the same Caribbean CBI program. The range of prices is also extremely wide. It leaves you confused and conflicted: should I go with the cheaper price that has worked out for other people instead of wasting my entire life savings or not? Shame on these agencies for being capitalistic and taking advantage of vulnerable people in need. CBI governments are also probably aware of these practices- if they truly care about due diligence then they should allow applicants to directly apply to the government and without the need of an agency.

The Argentine Federal Court has ruled :Milei’s Decree (DNU 366/2025) Unconstitutional

A Federal Appeals Court (Sala III de la Cámara Civil y Comercial Federal) just ruled that the core sections of DNU 366/2025 are unconstitutional.

Last year, President Milei issued an emergency decree shifting the entire citizenship/naturalization process away from Federal Judges and handing it over to the National Directorate of Migration (DNM) to create a streamlined, administrative process. It lays the foundation for the proposed Argentine CBI programme.

The court noted the new administrative process stripped away crucial judicial checks, like the involvement of federal prosecutors and the right to judicial appeal if denied.

Citizenship applications must now revert back to the federal courts.

It means the new CBI applications will be handled by the federal judges like other naturalisation cases. No special treatment.

Be cautious with any agent who is trying to label this potential programme as ‘easy’, ‘fast’ and ‘reliable’.

Do CBI/RBI Legally or Risk Losing $

When you do citizenship or residency by investment illegally, the agent often asks for more payment upfront.

Yes, you might pay less in the end.

If your application is approved.

If not, you'll lose that larger upfront payment.

And if a later government comes after you, you better hope they just ask for the rest of the money.

Instead of just cancelling your passport or citizenship.

How do you know if you're doing citizenship or residency by investment legally? Simple: search the Internet for the official government website.

A few minutes doing that could save you many thousands of dollars and many headaches.
