The game recreates battles of the Napoleonic era: you command infantry, cavalry, and artillery, while the campaigns are inspired by real events starting from 1796. There’s a strong emphasis on historical authenticity, with key formations available such as line, column, and square.

As you progress, your troops gain experience, allowing you to customize your army and better handle more challenging battles. The game uses the Unity 6 engine, combining detailed 3D graphics with a clear and convenient battlefield view.

There is no multiplayer - the game is entirely focused on a single-player experience. Everything depends on your tactical decisions and your ability to command an army in intense battles.

My wife and I are working on a stylized horror game, and we’d love to get your feedback on the visuals!

My wife and I have always dreamed of making a horror game, but we wanted to avoid the usual clichés like another "realistic" horror. We wanted to build a world with quirky characters and a twisted fairy-tale vibe. Inspired by Hello Neighbor and Luigi's Mansion, we ended up creating our game — Don't Eat Me, Granny.

What can you say about the game's visuals? Do you like the art style? What kind of vibes or feelings do you get just by looking at these screenshots?

The Sun is dying and humanity lost hope, but Jupiter's ice moon's surface has melted. (early look)

Early Development!
This underwater game takes place on Europa, Jupiter's 4th biggest moon. It is covered with 40km deep, thick ice layer. Maybe something lives there.

In 2043, the Sun began to die - expanding, heating, and slowly destroying humanity.

As Earth collapses, Europa’s 40-kilometer ice shell finally melts open, exposing a dark ocean humanity was never meant to reach.

You are sent alone beneath the ice with one mission: explore the abyss, collect samples, and send humanity a final hope for survival.

Guided only by your Directive Assistant AI, you descend deeper and deeper into Europa’s ocean.

But something beneath the surface is watching.

Something ancient is trying to reach you.

And the deeper you go, the more impossible it becomes to tell whether your AI is protecting you, or hiding the truth.

If you want to stay connected and follow the development, share feedback or just wanna be part of a nice community join my discord, theres a link in the comments.

Looking for Playtesters for the New Invasion Survivors Demo!

Hey everyone!

Over the past few months, we’ve added a lot of new stuff to the game, and we’re getting ready to release the new version of the demo!

I wanted to know if anyone would be interested in helping me test it, find bugs, and help with balance, and also get a copy of the game as a thank you.

If you’d like to test it, just send me a DM or reply here. I’ll start sending out Steam Keys soon.

Thanks!

And if you’d like to wishlist the game on Steam:

My small indie team has always been drawn to space, and we’re creating a survival-adventure game that tries to portray space not as we know it.

The story begins after a catastrophe. The protagonist wakes up in open space among the wreckage of ships and stations, with no memory of the past. There is no communication and no survivors - only anomalies that distort the laws of physics. The only goal is survival and the search for answers.

The only companion is S.E.M., a voice assistant integrated into the spacesuit. It helps the player navigate, gather resources, and analyze the world, but over time it becomes increasingly suspicious and unpredictable.

The gameplay is built around space exploration: abandoned stations, derelict ships, asteroids, and dangerous anomaly zones. Resources are essential for crafting tools, and every expedition is a risk.

Space here is not just a backdrop, but a direct threat. Oxygen is limited, the silence is oppressive, and the dark unknown is everywhere. Players can use a Zerocycle vehicle for traversal, along with various tools for mining and interacting with the environment.

The game is currently in active development, and your ideas may become part of the universe we are creating.

I need help setting the price for my game

I need help selecting a good price that feels fair both to me as a developer and to potential players/buyers. I already have a price in mind, but I am an unknown developer, a true “one-man band” behind this game, so I want the pricing to feel reasonable from both perspectives.

My game, Horns, is a solo project. By release, it will have a bit more than 2 years of development time behind it (1 year and 2 months so far).

The demo already offers around 3 hours of gameplay, and the full game is planned to have about 30 hours of content.

It is a linear game that gives the feeling of an open world. The map is quite large, there are usually multiple paths in front of the player, and there is no “wrong” direction to take.

Short description of the game:

  • Dark fantasy RPG with a strong atmospheric world
  • Heavy focus on storytelling and delivering the narrative through gameplay
  • Realistic graphics with many animation sequences
  • Third-person perspective
  • A combination of old-school game design and modern mechanics
  • Inspired by Morrowind, The Witcher, Max Payne, Resident Evil, and Silent Hill, all wrapped in a dark fantasy setting
  • Mechanics inspired by popular titles, but expanded and pushed further in some ways

A huge amount of effort and work has gone into making the game feel comparable in quality to well-known titles while still remaining unique. To me, it feels like a very unusual and distinctive RPG experience (but this could be subjective).

Optimization is not perfect yet, but the game has already been tested and runs on a GTX 1060 from 2016. By release, optimization should be significantly improved.

I noticed that many indie studios and solo developers would probably price a game like this between $30–50 considering the scope and length.

Personally, I was thinking about pricing it around $12–15. I feel that would be fair for potential buyers, and for me it could still pay off if the game sells well.

I would appreciate your honest opinion on the description and pricing, and of course you can also check the game on Steam.

We’ve been experimenting with an FPS concept focused on realistic graphics and humanoid robot characters. Still not sure if the idea feels genuinely cool or just unnecessarily overcomplicated, so we’d love to hear what FPS players think.

The current concept art is AI-generated, but the actual plan is to build fully modeled robotic bodies with dynamic bullet damage and destruction systems.

Which character designs do you like the most, and which ones feel silly or out of place?

We’re still in the early stages and mainly looking for honest feedback before we continue building it.

Testing exploding barrel physics

Description: Set up a scene with a bunch of barrels — just to see them fly apart nicely across the area. I think it worked.

Ciao a tutti!

It’s been almost 10 months since we first introduced the game to the community. Since then, we’ve adjusted and improved different systems, UI, and also adding more contents based on player feedback from our playtest and early demo.

We’re still working hard on refining the experience, and next up, we’ll be joining Steam Next Fest this June! Hope you’ll check it out and support the game when the demo goes live.

Do modern puzzle-platformers still capture the same feeling older ones did?

We’re currently working on a small atmospheric 2D puzzle game, and while replaying older titles like Limbo and Inside, we started wondering something. Do you think modern puzzle-platformers still capture the same feeling of mystery and tension older games had?

Some newer games look visually incredible, but sometimes they feel a bit overdesigned or too fast-paced to us. On the other hand, some recent indie titles absolutely nail the atmosphere. Curious what people who genuinely love this genre think.
